Meredith's POV

The limo driver pulls out both Ed and I's bags and hand them to us. "Thank you." I smile. Nodding, he walks back to the drivers seat.

"Ready?" Ed asks me as we walk towards the house. It's right in central London, but from the rout we took, I haven't seen much of London yet.

"I guess." I sigh. It would be so awkward if Ed's friends didn't like me.And from what I've heard, Ed's Ex isn't too exited to see me either.

Knocking on the door, Ed takes a step back and uses his free hand to hold mine. A man about our age opens the door and immediatly smiles. "Ed!" He yells pulling Ed into a giant hug. "And this must be Meredith. He's told me so much about you."

"Oh he has?" I ask looking at Ed with one eyebrow up in suspision.

"Yes, I'm Oliver. Nice to meet you." He says with a warm smile while sticking hs hand out for me to shake. Taking it gladly I reply.

"You too." Just asI say that two girls come out from the hallway in the house and to the front door to greet us.

"Hi, Ed. Haven't seen you in a while." The first says. She's a tiny bit taller than me, with dirty blond hair. "I'm Jade." She smiles looking at me.

"Hi, I'm Meredith." I reply. I don't feel to awkward, other than that girl that came along with Jade. She's stairing straight at me with some emotion. I can't tell if it's anger, jealousy, sadness...

"And this is Jasmine, she's a party pooper." Oliver says pointing to the girl that was stairing at me. "Well, you two better get settled in, we have a big football match to watch tonight. Manchester City against Liverpool."

"Great! You'll have to catch me up on the teams, they don't have many channels for football in America." Ed laughs walking in the front door with me close behind. I follow Ed down the hall to the last door. Being careful not to drop my bag, I walk down the stairs behind that door.

I did remember Ed telling me he lied in the basement. I'm fine with that, really. This basement is huge. It has a mini kitchen in the corner, it's own bathroom, a couch and tv, and a bedroom. It's even furnished.

"I can just imagine you sitting here writing songs." I laugh following him into his room and placing my bag near a wall. His bedroom is covered in various posters. Some I recognize, but others were most likely only famous in the UK because I have no idea who they are.

"Yeah, I wrote most of my songs in this very room." He smiles laying back in the bed. I can just feel how happy he is to be here; and truthfully, it makes me happy to see Ed like this. "Oh, so my ex-girlfriend is Jasmine. She will say mean things to you and things that aren't true."

"I guessed that was her. And trust me, I won't be afraid to say things back..." I trail off thinking about what would happen if she said something really bad.
