Chapter 22: Another Day In Asterin

~Third Person's P.O.V~

It's Sunday and the Shin sisters are still in Asterin. Ryujin is still lazy so she's staying at the orphanage while Yuna decided to go outside for a walk. The prince also had the same idea and is now outside the castle. Of course, with Lucy and Terry.

"Where do you wanna go?" -Lucy

"Let's go back to the garden." -Kai

"The garden again? Why??" -Terry

"Idk. I just feel like coming there." -Kai

"As you said my prince." -Lucy

Kai went back to the garden and coincidentaly saw Yuna there too. Taking pictures of the beautiful flowers that she haven't got a chance to look before. Kai got more curious with Yuna's 'flat box' but shrugged it off anyways.

"Yuna!" -Kai

"Oh prince Kai! You're here!" -Yuna

"Nice to see you again." -Kai

"You too! Oh and Terry, Lucy. Nice to see you again." -Yuna

"Hi there Yuna." -Lucy

While everyone was saying hi, Terry looked at Kai and Yuna's pinky finger again and as expected, it was glitching. He knew there's something with this Yuna girl. Probably a connection between the two. But he still needs to find out more.

"Should we leave you prince?" -Lucy

"Yes pls." -Kai

When Kai is with Yuna, he would always tell the two to leave them alone. Which he never does around other people even when he's more close to them.

"What're you doing here again?" -Yuna

"I had a feeling you'd come back here today." -Kai

"Good feeling!" -Yuna

"What about you?" -Kai

"I wanna look at the other flowers. I didn't had a chance to look at them when I first visited." -Yuna

"I see. Wanna have a stroll?" -Kai

"Sure!" -Yuna

While Kai and Yuna are having a stroll at the garden, Terry couldn't control himself anymore and decided to tell his aunt Lucy about it.

"Lucy, there's something I wanna tell you, but can you pls not tell Kai first? I might be mistaken..." -Terry

"Alright. What is it?" -Lucy

"Everytime Yuna and Kai are close, their pinky fingers glitch." -Terry

"I- wait, Yuna?" -Lucy

"Yes. She can also glitch like Kai." -Terry

"Maybe she's born the day the supernova exploded..." -Lucy

"Supernova?" -Terry

"Yes. I have speculations that Kai got his powers because of the supernova. If that happened to him, it's probably the same as Yuna." -Lucy

"You have a point. But why only their pinky finger's would glitch?" -Terry

"We need to know more about that Yuna girl..." -Lucy

Terry agreed to what his auntie told him. They saw Yuna as a nice girl at first but became a suspicious person after Terry saw her pinky finger glitch. While the two were talking about this, Kai and Yuna were still at the garden.

"... And this is where the orchids are." -Kai

"They're lovely!" -Yuna

The prince loves impressing Yuna by surprising her with flowers out of nowhere. Just like before, he stretched his hand a bit to where the purple orchids are and one of it was being pulled like a magnet into his hand. Once he grabs it, he showed it to the girl who's giving him a cute reaction.

"Wow! It's so pretty! I think this is prettier than the pink one." -Yuna

'You nailed it again Kai!' -Kai

"One question, where did you get this? I mean, you were just standing beside me." -Yuna

"Oh I ahh... I already have that in my pocket." -Kai

'Was that a good reason?' -Kai

"Ok? They're still pretty! Thanks." -Yuna

"You're welcome Yuna." -Kai

Kai thought that nobody was looking when he used his powers but the truth is, both Lucy and Terry are mentally face palming themselves because of their freind being reckless.

"Did Kai just..." -Terry

"He's not being careful with his powers." -Lucy

"Kai never impresses a girl right?" -Terry

"Unless he likes her..." -Lucy

"So you're saying Kai likes Yuna?" -Terry

"Maybe why their pinky fingers would glitch?" -Lucy

"Idk anymore." -Terry

Kai wanted to see the stars at that moment so he invited Yuna to go start seeing later that night.

"I wanna see the stars later from here... Hey Yuna! Wanna sneak out tonight?" -Kai

"But you have royal guards..." -Yuna

"I'm good at sneaking. So, wanna do it?" -Kai

"I'll do it." -Yuna

"Great! Tonight, here at the garden." -Kai

"Okie!" -Yuna

"Prince Kai, it's time to go home." -Lucy

*Nod*"Bye." *wink* -Kai
