Chapter 25: Switch

~Kai's P.O.V~

While me and Yuna were talking about stars, we heard some familiar voices from a far. We walked towards it and saw our friends hiding behind the bushes. I can't believe Terry followed me. Well atleast he didn't ruin the night. While we were talking, I noticed my hand was glitching. I'm not even feeling any strong emotions.

"Prince Kai! Wanna have a night stroll with me?" -Ryujin

"With you?"

"Yes. I want us to be friends." -Ryujin

"Alright then."

Yuna's step-sister whom I think is Joanne invited me to walk with her at the edge of the garden. Well I do wanna have many friends. Maybe I can also ask more about Yuna. As we were walking away from the other two, my pinky finger is now the one glitching. I always have control over the glitch but this time, it's pretty much getting out of hand.

'Ang layo ko na kay Yuna, pero bakit nag-giglitch pa rin daliri ko? *Gasp* No way!' -Ryujin

"So what do you wanna talk about?"

"Let's see... You and Yuna! What kind of relationship do you have?" -Ryujin

"A-ahh... What're you talking about?"

"Your relationship. Are you friends? Or more than that?? Do you like her???" -Ryujin

"Woah woah slow down... One at a time."

She's a bit impulsive. All of a sudden, she's asking me what my relationship with Yuna is. Isn't it obvious that we're friends? Or maybe she's being a bit delusional thinking I like her.

"So... Are you friends?" -Ryujin

"Yes."

"Good! Do you like her though?" -Ryujin

"Uhmm..."

"It's ok. You can trust me." -Ryujin

"Maybe?"

"Maybe? You're not sure??" -Ryujin

"I don't really know if I like her. I mean, I don't fully know her yet..."

"You're right. But if ever that happens, don't be afraid to talk to me." -Ryujin

"Thanks Joanne."

"Welcome my prince." -Ryujin

~Yuna's P.O.V~

"Yuna, wanna walk with me?" -Terry

"But I'm with-"

"Let's switch partners." -Terry

"Sure!"

Habang nag-uusap kami ni Kai ay may narinig kaming ingay sa may mga damuhan. Mukhang alam ko kung sino yun. Pag-lapit namin ay nakita ko sina Terry at Ryujin na magkasama. Sabi na nga ba, sinundan ako ng babaeng 'to! Baka naamoy niya yung sandwich hehe. And baka yun ang reason kung bakit nag-giglitch pinky finger ko. Dahil nandito rin siya. After nun ay nag-switch kami ng partners. Kasama ko ngayon si Terry na naglalakad sa isang side ng garden habang nasa kabila naman sina Kai at Ryujin. Hindi na rin nag-giglitch kamay ko.

'Awkward...'

"Yuna is really a weird name..." -Terry

"Terry is also a weird name to me."

"What do you think will suit me better then?" -Terry

"Hmm... Taehyun? Taehyun sounds nice."

"Another weird name." -Terry

"Yah!"

"Yah?" -Terry

"Oh I mean... Hey!"

"Yuna, do you know a language that we people of Asterin don't know?" -Terry

"Ahh... Yes?"

"What language?" -Terry

'Earth language.'

I decided to tease him kase why not? Mapangasar rin naman ako minsan no? Wala lang, para naman masaya diba?? Ang awkward naman kasi.

"How 'bout I tell you when you finally accept my name as Yuna and your name as Taehyun?"

"You are one manipulative girl." -Terry

"I also have an english name but I won't tell you unless you accept those 'weird' names."

"Fine. One day, I'll get used to it." -Terry

"Good! I'll wait for that day."

Habang naglalakad kami ni Terry or 'Taehyun' ay napansin kong palagi niyang tinitingnan kamay ko. Is my hand glitching? Nabuking na ba ako?? Sana hindi.

~Third Person's P.O.V~

The four met again at one end of the garden and parted ways. The girls went back to the orphanage and Terry made sure Kai won't get caught by the other royal guards before he goes home. To make things fun, Lucy scolded the two non-stop and both of them went to sleep still hearing her talk to them.
