Chapter 4: The Rulers

~Kai's P.O.V~

The doctors finished checking me up and we're now waiting for the results. I admit that I was glitching while waiting. But I still tried to control myself. I mean, everything was fine a while ago. I'm so happy to know that I have powers, but looks like it's not really a good thing for my father.

"I'm sorry your majesty. We can't tell how the prince got his powers." -Adviser

"I understand. You may now go." -King

"Father, what's going to happen now?"

"Idk son. But can you control it? Mostly the glitch." -King

"Maybe. I'll try."

"I see. Once you completely control your powers, we can introduce you to the people." -King

Why do I feel like I have to hide my powers? Is that really a bad thing?? Won't the people accept me??? I was thinking of these thoughts when a servant came in. She's actually scary at first cuz of her eyes. But when she smiles or laughs, she's really cute.

"Your majesty, here's your tea." -Servant

"Thank you. May I ask, what's your name?" -King

"Lucy your majesty." -Lucy

"Lucy, from now on, you'll be my son's personal servant. Always keep an eye on him." -King

'Personal servant?'

"Yes your majesty." -Lucy

"Very well, you may now bring him back to his room." -King

"Excuse us your majesty. Come with me my prince, let's go to your room." -Lucy

So I'm having a personal servant? Well that's not a problem with me. I followed her as we went back to my room.

"Lucy right?"

"Yes your highness." -Lucy

"Stop calling me that. Just call me Kai when no one's around. Understand?" *wink*

"Yes your- I mean... Sure Kai!" -Lucy

"Great!"

"Mother, are you feeling alright?" -Lea

"No sweetheart. Can you pls pass that glass of water." -Queen

"Here mother... Are you feeling alright now?" -Lea

"Yes thank you." -Queen

"What will her name be?" -Lea

"Bahiye." -Queen

"I can't wait to see her! I just got Kai and now a baby sister!" -Lea

*Chuckle* -Queen

A couple of years after I was born, my mother became pregnant and I'm going to have another sister. My father tried to help me with my powers by giving me a personal servant named Lucy in which I became close with. Since the day I was born, no people from outside the castle has ever seen me until today. But in time, I know my father will still introduce me as prince of Asterin, and I'm waiting for that.
