Nobody's POV:
Today is finally the day everyone has been waiting for. The Chunin exams which brings everyone into one place just to warch Genins fighting and showing flashy jutsu's to impress while others are to bet on a person on whoever would win between the competitors.
In the arena stood 8 chunin hopeful as they glance up the stadium to take a good look at the watchers varying from mere civilians into Daimyos. In the Kage box, the freshly appointed Mizukage, Mei Terumī, with her body guards Ao and Chojuro. The other Kage present is the Kazekage, Rasa of the Sand and his body guard. And lastly, the Hokage and only one bodyguard, Kitsune sama.
" Welcome everyone to this twice a year event held at our very own Hidden Village. Please seat back and enjoy the matches that are to be presented by our competitors." Came the booming voice of the man who is feared by many, the Yellow flash of Konoha.
The crowds erupted into cheers as many shouted names of the people who they think would win. Of course being the Hokage's son, Menma had many supporters cheering for him and are shouting to defeat Hinata immediately. The same could be heard at the cheers for the Uchiha. Mostly coming from clan members of course but also from his fan clubs and suport groups.
" Hokage dono, it seems that your son and the Uchiha are quite a favorite. "
" It would seem so, Kazekage sama but although Menma may be my son, it should not be biased and so should be your children Kazekage sama."
" Of course it would not be biased Hokage dono"
" Hokage sama it would seem that everything is ready, is it time for the main event to start? We would not want to keep the crowed waiting." The fresh Mizukage commented getting the attention of the blonde Hokage.
" Of course Mizukage sama."
" Everyone! The most awaited event is going to begin, first contestants please remain at the Battleground while the others are to watch at the Competitor's Box."
The matches began with Temari of the Sand against Shikamaru Nara. Temari attacked Shikamaru with onslaughts upon onslaughts of wind jutsus while Shikamaru dadged and tried many ways to attack her. Everything seemed like going in favor with Temari, but due to Shikamaru's planning and tactics, he lured Temari close to the wall's shadow which connected with her own. But due to Shikamaru not expecting to hold his jutsu for more than ten seconds more he gave up earning many booing competitors and an angry platinum blonde haired girl.
" I give my vote to the Nara kid, Hokage sama. Although he is quite lazy, he still has the skills and could make great plans in just an amount of time."
" I will keep my vote, Hokage dono. We shall see what the others do first."
" Of course Kazekage sama, but I agree with Mizukage sama, he has shown great thinking and execution skills, therefore I also give my vote to Shikamaru Nara."
The next match is Menma Namikaze against Hinata Hyuuga. The crowd all cheered Menma's name except for the Hyuuga's, well most. Some Hyuuga members cheered Menma's name to keep appearances but deep down they were rooting for the heirest.
Hiashi sat there with Hanabi beside him, with pride welling up in his heart for his daughter made it this far. He knew he acted like shit towards her but when she showed great potential and great determination, he slowly opened up to her and ask for forgiveness plenty of times which, being the kind hearted girl Hinata is, she accepts.
" Hajime!"
Menma immediately called upon his chains as they rush towards Hinata. The latter dodged each chain fluidly and rush towards Menma landing a jyuuken strike to his left shoulder before doing a backflip to avoid a chain coming from below her. Menma took a step back and looked at his now limping left hand as the chakra point has been closed off. He made a shadow clone and he raised his right towards her, exposing it to the clone. The clone made a swirling movements with his hands, releasing chakra and puting it onto the original's right hand. Many gasps were heard and a smirk appeared on the Hokage's face.
" Byakugan!"
" Rasengan!"
As Menma rushed Hinata who now has her Byakugan activated, the latter showed a proud smile.
" Rotation!"
The ball of chakra met with a spinning defensive wall of chakra. Both grinding against each other as they try to break one another. Hinata kept on spinning as Menma thrust his hand more onto the spinning dome. Suddenly Hinata cancels the rotation and quickly dodged the hand with the spinning mass of chakra. Menma reacted slowly thus thrusting fkrward in an unsteady way and with Hinata knowing this, she extended her foot towards his, tripping him and gave him a set of fast jyuuken strikes onto his other soldier down towards his wrist, rendering that arm useless.
Menma fell on the ground face first and accidentaly slammed his Rasengan onto the ground creating a crater around him while he is sent upwards. Menma stood up shaking while he is shocked. He got trained by his father during childhood and additional training with Jiraiya in the Rasengan and to make it more effective. Yet he is being utterly destroyed and humiliated by a Hyuuga.
" Who trained you!"
" And why would I say?"
" I demand ANSWERS! I WAS TRAINED BY A LEGENDARY SANNIN AND PARTLY MY FATHER AND YET I DO NO DAMAGE! WHO TRAINED YOU!"
" You really want to know that badly huh? Fine, I was given instructions by him to say who trained me so I'll say. I was trained by non other than Kitsune san."
" What! Why!? "
" I knew that Shino kun needs all the training he could get and so I volunteered to Kurenai sensei that I would ask someone else while she and the Aburame clan get to help Shino. I approached Kitsune san and he agreed to train me."
" Why?! Why does he trusts you! He trusted us, his team with his identity and he would rather train you than us?! Fine then! I'll tell you who Kitsune san is and you will tell me if you can trust him back! His real name is - "
Silence engulfed the whole stadium as anticipation rosed. Everyone wanted to learn of the Kitsune's identity, even the Mizukage, Kazekage and Hokage.
" AHHH! I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT HIM!!"
The whole crowed erupted in confused reaction and back at the Kage box, all of the Kage stared at the Fox masked ANBU as they await for some sort of explanation with the latter not getting the clue.
" Would you mind to explain, Kitsune?" Asked the blonde Hokage.
" You must understand, Hokage sama that I placed my own made seal to him and his teammates that I could trigger that would erase any sign of any information regarding my identity. If one of them speaks about me, it would activate without them knowing. Please understand that this does not damage them at all and is very effective like the seal you made me make to avoid a particular civil war."
As the Namikaze stood there still shouting about how he could not remember, the lavender eyed princess took this as a chance and quickly dashed his way towards him with her byakugan still active.
" Eight Trigrams: Sixty Four Palms!"
" One!"
" Two!"
" Four!"
" Eight!"
" Sixteen!"
" Thirty Two!"
" Sixty Four!"
As she finished her onslaught of jyuuken strike, Menma fell to the ground thanks to that added with his exhaustion and mental confusion.
" I did not even show my new stance" Hinata pouted as she felt dissapointed by the battle.
" Winner: Hinata Hyuuga!"
All of the Hyuuga, both Main and Branch Family cheered, surprisingly, even the ever so stoic Hiashi Hyuuga cheered and chanted Hinata's name over and over, surprising many people. Hinata blushed at the attention and began to notice that half of the stadium is roaring and cheering over her victory, specially those who were fed up with Menma's constant screaming on their battle.
Hinata made her way up to the competitors booth and before the next contestants got down, Feathers seem to fall before they vanish a secondnlater leaving many confused and soon later they all saw a flying Kazekage land on the middle of the battlefield with Kitsune and the other two Kage right behind.
" So how is your plan you snake pedophile? Did you miss our little chase? Orochimaru"
