Chapter 39

Kitsune's POV :

It had taken a single statement yet I already knew full well who it was. I sensed her chakra signature just to make sure and it really was her.

"Mei sama, it had been a while."

"Hai~ Kitsune san, why don't you join me? You could stay beside me amd we could catch up~"

"I would rather stay here, Mizukage sama"

I say as I walked towards the farthest place from her, beside a rock.

"You are no fun~. You know, I saw the new Bingo book, who knew you were that hot under that mask~ It just made me want you more you know~?"

"Sorry, but I am already in a healthy relationship Mei sama."

"Aww~ too bad, may I know who is this lucky person? Maybe we could share you~"

"Please stop Mei sama, you are making me uncomfortable. And who knows what rumors may go out if someone heard us talking this way. I do not wish to be the center of any more gossips."

"Okay then."

She said in a disappointed manner. I heard her sigh before silence engulfed us again. Soon the sound of the door opening and closing sounded around the onsen before two small splashes were heard as I did my best not to look at them, knowing it was Kaka nii and Minato sama. It's a good thing Minato sama stayed a distance away from me and away from Kakashi nii. He must have finally realized that we do are not comfortable at being close to each other.

"Oh that's right Kitsune san, there had been a rumor that Hidden Rain's leaders are here in the Land of Iron. I do not know if they were invited to the Kage Summit or they just came for another reason."

"Hidden Rain? That's news to us as well."

"Naruto, who was that female voice?"

Came the soft whisper of Minato sama's voice.

"Mizukage sama, Mei Terumi. This is a mixed onsen so it's normal that she is here."

"Yondaime dono, Hokage dono, it is nice for you to join us."

Mei says, probably noticing their chakra signature.

"Haha of course, Mizukage sama"

And so, came the most awkward conversation to ever happen in a mixed onsen. Awkward silence came after each conversation only for either Minato sama of Mei sama to start another. Kakashi nii san was at the corner muttering "you are no longer single" and "don't be a pervert" to himself. Anko san must be proud to have such a loyal boyfriend.

And soon I left them in their talks after leaving behind a transformed shadow clones masking it's chakra. It was transforned into a small bug perched ontop of the decorations.

Who knows what will happen when you leave a lady with two adult male that have not released in a week.

Summoning back the fox I left my things, I quickly grabbed my belongings and gave a quick thank you to the fox. And a small block of tofu from one of the storage seals from inside my mask. Don't ask what else are there because it will take too long to name them all.

I quickly made my way to my room before sending out my chakra to detect every chakra present in the room. There was another besides mine, and that was to be expected, they are protecting us after all.

"Don't tell me you have been following me everywhere Sai."

"Don't worry, I would not want to see your dick ever again, especially if there's nothing special about it."

"So you like seing "special" dicks? Don't worry, I won't judge."

"I did not say that I like seing dicks. Anyways, the ROOT personel have been going around town and have seen one of the attackers who invaded Konoha not too long ago."

"Which one?"

"The blue haired female."

"Take me to her and do not engage, I have to talk to her."

Sai looked at me with a questioning gaze but nodded non the less. He grabbed onto my shoulder as we vanished in a shunshin. Good thing I was thought how to change in less than a second, or else I would still be in the Inn's provided clothes.

We arrived near a small cottage in the middle of the small village we were at when we arrived. All the lights are closed but I could sense not one but too chakra signatures. Both at Kage levels. I waved my hand towards Sai in a playful shooing manner as he disappeared. The other chakra signatures around vanished as well.

I knocked on the door and waited for a minute before the door opened. I blue haired woman wearing a cloudless black cloak. It looked like her Akatsuki uniform without the clouds. Behid her were many pieces of papers floating in the air, ready to attack. Konan.

"Kitsune san, it is good to see you again. How did you find us?"

She says, as I noticed a group of paper lowering to the floor behind her.

"A few of the Hokage's guards have seen you enter town and notified me. It is good to see you as well, Konan san."

"Hai. Would you like to come in? There is something we would like to discuss with you. Something important."

"I am sorry, but I could not take too long. If it's important, would'nt it be better if told in the Kage Summit?"

"I am afraid that we may be unable to attend due to us being fugitived once."

"Don't worry, you and Nagato san were not listed as criminals. You were listed as leaders of Hidden Rain village though, I am sure that would mean that you are Kages."

"Well then, please help us when that time comes."

"Of course, now please excuse me."

Konan gave a small nod before going back in the Inn using a small flame shunshin, melting the snow around where my feet were once located. I immediately changed my clothes to go to bed. As I was going under the warm blankets, the memories of the shadow clone left at the onsen came back and showed that the three did nothing suspicious. And so, I went to bed.
