Chapter 54

Naruto's POV:

A blood clone successfully caught up to the real Madara as he reverse summoned us to him. We left Raikage sama, Gaara , and Kakashi nii san to deal with the remaining Madara clones.

Itachi san went back directly to Kumo through a reverse summoning. How a crow did it is beyond me but atleast it worked. We are not sure if the enemy has caught wind of the fake Madara's situation, wherein he is stuck inside Itachi san's weapon. All the enemy probably knows is that the fake is still trapped in the box while being carried by the giant turtle.

No matter how many times we confronted him, he manages to escape our grasps, making us chase after him again. But after the first two chase, I always sent the blood clone first so that he could intercept Madara and reverse summon us to him at the same time.

There is one flaw from this plan.

We have no contact to the remaining shinobi left to fend off the reanimated Tsuchikage unless a Yamanaka manages to contact us.

Dodging another giant fist, I sent a punch infused with Kurama's chakra to the said Susanoo, shattering it and destroying the blood clone. Minato san is in a battle against the real Madara, stalling him. Minato tried sealing Madara plenty of times but the Sharingan, true to it's name, saw through all said attempts.

I immediately joined the older blonde, sending quick ninjutsu and taijutsu attacks to the reanimated legend, only for him to dodge and counter each and every one of them.

But it does not mean that we are not dealing damage.

Our SS rank is not a joke, after all.

Creating a dome of Adamantine Sealing Chains, we began attacking once again. Sure it slowed me down a bit but I quickly adjusted into it. He tried using a jutsu tkwards us, only for nothing to happen.

It made sense to him a few seconds later.

"The annoying barriers of the Uzumaki clan, it seems that you have mastered it enough to a point where chakra usage is being blocked off, along with using it while in combat? Impressive"

"Thanks, but flattery from a dead guy is useless to the living"

He only have a look of indifference as he kept on dodging and sending attacks of his own. Even without chakra usage, our speeds were still remarkable, including Minato's.

"Why do you resist? The Infinite Tsukuyomi is the answer to everything. It is the only answer for everyone to obtain eternal peace as you sleep through the unforgiving reality."

"Reality truely is disappointing but I would rather live in a world of truth than in a dream full of lies."

He gave a blank stare in return.

No, a stare that screams 'I am judging you'.

"Naruto nii!"

I retreated  outside the barrier as an all familiar voice sounded in my head.

"Help us! Ero sennin got reanimated! The group got split in two. Everyone around me is gravely wounded! Yamanaka san is barely holding it, please come immediately!"

Jiraiya? They need my help?

'If I go now, it would take too long to arrive there since I can't reverse summon, and our plan to take down Madara right here would fail. If I won't go, Menma's and other shinobi's lives would be endangered, Madara would be defeated, along with the one who casted the reanimation, ending the war.'
