The next day
"So how is life treating you?" Nyla asked after turning the camera off to have a one on one with Aniyah. She didn't think their friendship should be strictly based off of youtube. Meeting about a month and a half ago, they clicked instantly. They've always knew of each other, but they never acknowledged one another.
"Fine for the most part" she nodded as she watched the nail technician carefully paint her toenails white. She couldn't complain, everything was for once coming together as she anticipated.
"Are you sure?" Nyla asked, concerning the tension of burden she gave off.
"I'm positive" she chuckled turning her attention towards Nyla who stared at her with an uncertain expression, trying to figure it all out.
"What about you? How do you like Houston so far?" She asked breaking the silence as her eyes averted towards her feet that were just about done.
"I love it girl, it's a whole different vibe out here. Finding more homegirls to chill with and stuff. I'm feeling it so far" she said as Aniyah lightly giggled at her accent and lively personality.
"How do you like Atlanta so far is the question, you made a big move at a young age" she said before bringing the cocktail up to her mouth and taking a sip from it.
"I know, but Atlanta has been great to me. Very productive and busy, so the opportunities are endless. You move there and never wanna move again" she replied.
"If I made the wrong move just say that sus dang" Nyla said causing the both of them to burst out in laughter.
"No Houston is a very productive place too, but I just fell in love with the Atlanta vibes" she laughed. "The weather is very bipolar but I'm not gone sweat it" she added before bringing the cocktail to her mouth and taking a sip of it.
"Oh but one thing I can say is that the houses in Houston are elite compared to Atlanta. We're currently looking for a home that is comfortable and permanent for our family off of a set monthly budget until we feel the need to pay the rest and buy it. It's very difficult in Atlanta. Our set price is ten thousand, so you can get a million dollar mansion here for that monthly price but in Atlanta the condos are damn neared" Aniyah shook her head.
"Move back here, my relator can find whatever your looking for" Nyla said as Aniyah stared deeply into thought.
The idea was everything.
"You know I don't know, I have to think about it" she took a sip of the cocktail as she watched the woman carefully slip the foot flops onto her feet. She has the exact store shes always wanted set aside, waiting to be rented. To search for that again in Houston would be a waste.
Getting up they both walked over to the toenail dryer, taking a seat in the seats beside each other they turned them on.
"So how many days are y'all here for?" Nyla asked, and turning her phone off she sat it down onto her lap.
"Five days, our main purpose was to come out here and see my dad but you see how that turned out" she chuckled as she shook her head.
"There's a lot of youtubers who's moved here, maybe I could introduce you to some of them" Nyla suggested.
"Yeah I'm down" she nodded. She was all about expanding her YouTube channel and meeting more YouTubers to collab with, big or small. After a deep conversation, their toes were finally dry. Both posting a boomerang of their white toes they walked to the desk and paid.
