"Sino yung kasama mo kagabi ?"
I suddenly felt chills everywhere. His gaze were so intense. They were like knives trying to cut me all the way down. They were frightening. I've never seen this side of Ken before. Ang eerie !
"A-anong kagabi ?" I stuttered.
"You were with a guy last night." he paused "Who the fuck was that ?" naka-kunot pa rin ang noo niya.
"Pa'no mo nalaman? Sinundan mo ba 'ko?"
"Stop throwing a question back ! Mahirap bang sagutin 'yon ng diretso?" he massaged the bridge of his nose with his eyes closed, looking frustrated
"Tangina. Sino ba kasi 'yon ?! Bakit ka sumasama don ?! "
"Bakit ka ba nagagalit ?!" I shouted back.
My lips parted when he stood up and walked out of the recording studio. I flinched when he slammed the door really hard. Why was he cranky ?
Napahilamos nalang ako ng mukha sa sobrang inis. Tumayo ako at sinundan siya sa labas.
Huminga ako ng malalim nung makita ko ang mga kaibigan niyang naka-iwas ng tingin sa'kin habang umiiling. Umirap ako bago naglakad palabas ng building at sinundan si Ken sa may parking.
I raised a brow when I saw him smoking a cigarette. His back was leaning on the car. His left hand was holding the cigarette while the other hand was inside his pocket.
He avoided my gaze when I already stood before him. Huminga ako ng malalim bago nagsalita.
"Ano na ?" I asked in a moderate voice, hoping he would respond.
My eyes widened when he suddenly opened the car door with one hand, still avoiding my gaze while sipping on his cigarette.
"Sakay" he commanded.
Sinunod ko nalang siya at kaagad na pumasok sa loob ng sasakyan. Pinanood ko kung paano niya itinapon ang sigarilyo sa sahig at tinapakan iyon. Ginulo niya ang buhok niya bago pumasok sa sasakyan.
"Saan mo ako dadalhin?"
"Ano ba sa tingin mo?" Umirap siya.
Napairap nalang din ako. Yes, I was at fault pero hindi ko rin maintindihan kung bakit parang ang big deal nito sa kanya. I missed plenty of his shows already pero ngayon lang siya nagalit ng ganito.
I just watched him drive with his eyes pierced on the road. His veins were popping out and his teeth were gritting in anger.
