CHAPTER 31: Brave

"Tawag ka na ng bebe mo" Mikee pointed at Ken's office.

Napalingon ako kaagad. I saw Ken standing in front of the door while glaring at his watch. He raised a brow when our eyes met.

"Wait lang" I used my hand to tell him.

I stood up right away to clean my table. Pakiramdam ko naka-timer na lahat ng ginagawa ko. Nakaka-intimidate yung mga titig niya. I swiftly removed my coat before leaving it on the chair. I turned off my printer first before shutting down the computer.

"Bes, mamimiss kita. Sulat ka ha" Mikee said and hugged me from behind.

"Iisang kumpanya lang tayo bes. Wag kang tanga"

When she let go, she kissed my cheek right away, fake crying. Napaka-OA! I kissed her cheek too before waving goodbye and picking up my things. I smiled so wide when I finally stood in front of him.

"Let's go--

Bago ko pa man matapos ang sasabihin ko ay tinalikuran na niya ako. I pouted when I realized that Mikee and Kuya Greggy saw what he did. Buti nalang silang dalawa nalang ang natitirang dito sa loob.

I sighed before following him. I was biting my lower lip when I glanced at him. Matalim siyang nakatingin sa harapan. When we finally stopped in front of his car, my heart almost fell when he didn't even open the car door for me. Dire-diretso siya doon sa driver's seat. Parang nanginig ang mga kamay ko sa ginawa niya.

"Ahmm. Sasabay ba talaga ako sa'yo? Kulang na kasi yung mga damit ni Deydey" I told him before fixing my seatbelt.

"Then we'll get his things. You can..."

Tumaas ang kilay ko sa kanya.

"Get your things too" he looked away.

"Ah. Okay sige" sabi ko at umiwas din ng tingin. Nagpipigil ng ngiti.

I listened to what he said. We came to our house in Laguna and I started packing my son's and my things. All of our things to be exact. Grabe siya. Di naman ako na-inform sa biglaang paglipat na'to. Pagod na pagod na ako noong natapos.

He was sitting on the side of the bed while playing with Peanut. The dog looks so excited, wiggling his tail. They're reunited. I started looking at Ken, hesitantly. Gusto kong sabihin sa kanya pero nahihiya ako.

"We'll bring Peanut too" he said which automatically made me smile. He was our first baby!

"Thank you"

Lumapit ako para halikan ang pisngi niya. I went even closer. He avoided my gaze.

When he didn't respond, I kissed his cheek again. I held on his chin to make him face me. I started kissing him on the lips intentionally. When I started sucking on his lower lip, pumatong na ako sa hita niya. I aggressively entered my tounge inside his mouth before wrapping my arms around his neck. I was a little annoyed because he wasn't kissing me back. Not even reacting. And when I started kissing his jaw down to his neck bigla niyang hinawakan ang mga braso ko at tinanggal iyon.
