CHAPTER 5: Apologetic

"Do you want to try clubbing?" he suddenly asked.

I was surprised but I managed to check the time. 11 pm palang ! Oh my gosh! I wanna try clubbing. This is going to be my first time.

"Game!" I told him with a high pitched voice. I couldn't contain my excitement.

He gave me a huge smile before telling me to go inside the car. It's a good thing that I have a dress inside my bag. I was so damn prepared for today. Sana lang ay hindi niya mapansin 'yon.

Sabi niya dadalhin niya daw ako sa isang night club sa Makati. He told me to stick with him dahil baka mapano ako since first time ko pa naman. I felt safe and sound.

It took us two hours to get there. I told him that I will change my clothes first dahil nga naka-uniform pa ako. He went outside the car immediately and waited for me to finish. I fumbled while changing my clothes at the back seat. I decided to wear a fitted and off-shoulder black dress. It wasn't revealing anyway.

"Shit" I whispered when I realized my phone was dead. "Seth may power bank ka?" I asked him.

He was already inside the car looking for his power bank. I already finished changing my clothes. He raised a brow then pouted.

"Shoot. I forgot to bring it with me" he scratched his head.

"It's okay. Makiki-tawag nalang ako sayo" I smiled at him.

He handed his phone to me and I called my mom immediately. I told her that I will be home late. Saka ko na ie-explain if ever man na uuwi akong lasing but hopefully, I'll be home sober.

After ending the call, Seth and I immediately hopped outside the car. He was such a gentleman since he even opened the door for me. I smiled automatically.

Inalalayan niya ako papasok ng club. I felt so conscious going there. Boisterous party music welcomed me. Wild and drunk people were all over the place. I suddenly felt scared for myself.

"Don't worry. It's fine. I won't let them touch or bother you" Seth reassured me as his hands were travelling down to my waist, pulling me closer, giving me comfort.

We walked straight to the bar counter because there were less people there. Halos lahat kasi ng tao nasa dance floor at nagwawala. Obviously having the time of their lives or baka naglalabas lang ng sama ng loob.

"You can't drink" he stopped me when I tried to reach for a bottle of whiskey.

I scratched my head and watched as he swallowed a small amount of Jim Beam. I licked my lower lip as I craved for it too. He raised a brow when he saw my reaction.

"Okay fine. Kaya mo ba?" he raised a brow. Nagkibit-balikat ako at kinuha 'yon sa kamay niya.
