"Kailan babalik si Sir Ken?" tanong ni Zeni at kaagad na napa-tingin sa akin.
"Nag-pile up na yung mga docs natin sa table niya. Mag-file muna kaya tayo ng additional signatory" Kuya Greggy suggested.
I pouted and pinned my attention on the computer, playing deaf while they are all busy pulling out documents from Ken's office. Isinuot ko nalang ang earphones ko pero naririnig ko pa din talaga sila!
"Psst. Kiara! Kailan babalik si Sir Ken?" Zeni asked while struggling to carry three loaded envelopes with her.

"Hindi ako sure e. Baka next week?" I looked away.
They looked at each other with so much confusion. Mukha kasi akong tanga, hindi ako sigurado sa sagot ko! Nakakainis.
It's been days since I last saw him and left him in tragic. Hindi niya ako iniwan noh. May business trip lang daw siya sa ibang bansa. 'Daw'.
It's ridiculous to think that the news even came from the bosses and not from me! Badtrip! Hindi ko din alam kung kailan siya babalik. I would always sound like a moron everytime I force myself to answer their damn easy questions. I kept on being inconsistent, halatang nanghuhula lang ako!
I really tried calling and texting but I couldn't reach him and I knew he was doing that intentionally. I wonder if he's doing fine. He was probably getting tired of my blatant lies. Deserve ko naman 'yon.
Countless days, I was left restless too. Parang ang hirap talagang matulog ngayon. They are all hunting me in my sleep. His face and everything that he said is now a nightmare to me. I started forcing myself to believe na business trip talaga ang pinunta niya doon and not because he's running away from me. That everything that happened was an eye-opener for him and now he wants me completely out of his life.
