Janus decided to pop in another episode. Thomas was having some troubles with going to a wedding or callback. Janus took this opportunity. "Maybe they'll see me as something better now!" Janus said hopefully. His plan was to teach them a lesson. But, it didn't go quite as planned.

"I think he's suggesting we beat someone up and rob their unconscious body." Roman said. "No!" Janus was having enough of these bufoons.

When Janus got back he took off his hat and sighed as he sat on the sofa. "You alright, J?" Remus asked. "Oh yes! My plan was saw through to the end! I'm filled with enjoyment!" Janus said. "Okay, jeez." Remus mumbled. Janus sighed. "No. I'm sorry. It didn't go well at all. I think they saw me as trying to make Thomas a bad person again." Janus said. "Well, they'll come around. You just have to keep trying your hardest." Remus walked up to his boyfriend. He kissed him for a while before Patton popped up. The two sides separated quickly. "Oh! Hey Patton. What do you need?" Remus asked. Patton laughed. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for the others Deceit." Patton admitted. "Huh?" Janus was highly confused.

"I saw the lesson you were trying to teach. Maybe make your demeanor a little less-mean." Patton suggested. Janus nodded. "But-I thought you saw me as a bad guy too?" Janus asked. "Not really! I know you're better than you and the others give you credit for. And your arguments were valid and justified!" Patton complimented. "Oh totally not thank you." Janus said. Patton looked a little disappointed. "Pat-he's lying. He does this. You should know by now." Remus rubbed his eyes. "Ohh! Okay! Thanks Dee!" Patton said happily. Janus smiled a little but noticed the cat hoodie on Patton again. "Uh, yeah." Janus murmured.

Patton's pov

Patton saw that Deceit was looking at his cat hoodie. Then he remembered. He wanted to bring it up slyly but it wasn't as smooth as it was in Patton's head. "Oh! I also wanna say that I have my cardigan set on my dresser! I never lose sight of it." He said. Deceit rolled his eyes. "He notices the effort don't worry." Remus whispered to Patton.

Janus' pov

"Well I should be off now! Gotta go calm the others down from today!" Patton said as he sank down. Janus frowned once he was gone. "Ugh! I'm exhausted. I won and lost in a way. I won in the courtroom but lost in teaching a lesson. Also that bowtie was choking me." Janus mentioned. "Wanna go rest? I'll take care of the place. I'm an adult." Remus suggested. "You would do that? Oh thank you, babe. I can't even lie at this point." Janus kissed Remus on the cheek and walked to his room.

Remus' pov (bet ya didn't expect this)

As Remus cleaned around the house, did dishes, all that, he was thinking. Thinking about how Janus and Patton interact. They seemed pretty friendly with each other. But once Patton can't see him, his expression changes drastically. And he seemed to blush whenever Patton said a specific thing, vis versa. But Remus shook himself. No. Just friends. Jan has said he loves you so many times! And a relationship can't be healthy without trust. Remus thought. But it wouldn't leave his brain. Intrusive thoughts having an intrusive thought. Interesting. But Remus ignored it. He had to trust that Janus was loyal and was honest with him. Then again, it was Janus. "Ugh! No! He wouldn't do that. You know him! He's not just all mean and sarcastic. He can be nice, and sweet." That brought a little peace to Remus' mind.

Patton's pov

Patton sighed. He went back to the mind palace and saw the other sides all gathered around. "V, Lo, Roman?" Patton asked. They turned to face Patton. "Why are so friendly to Deceit? He's bad!" Virgil said. "He's not all bad! Just misunderstood." Patton defended. "Patton. He's awful. He deceit for fuck sake!" Logan said. "He's more than that! And why can't you guys just accept him? Virgil was the exact same!" Patton retorted. Virgil looked at the ground. Roman shook his head and Logan sighed and fixed his glasses. "Patton, bud. Virgil is more than just anxiety. Deceit is not." He explained. "Yes he is! You guys are just so close minded!" Patton groaned as he stormed off to his room.

Patton hugged his cardigan. He just wanted them to see what he saw in Deceit. He could be nice, and caring, and only wanted to protect Thomas. He saw what Deceit was like when Thomas was young. Patton teared up a little. Deceit was shoved out of caring for Thomas when he only wanted to help. That made Patton angry. "You know what? Fuck them. I know Deceit is good and That's all that matters. If they're really my friends then they'll see it too.
