~ Talia's POV ~

She knows Justin was never going to amount to anything, but she wished he would've been able to keep Kaia imprisoned a bit longer. No matter. She will simply have to do things the hard way for now.

She hums softly and sighs. Why on earth is it so hard for her to find good help nowadays? She shakes her head and walks over to the side of the house that faces the road. Behind her stands Lucas, the man with his mouth sewn up by her magick.

She wants nothing more than to let her magick consume him. But she's patient. She will wait and bide her time. She will be patient and remain calm, as all good things will come to her in due time.

The sound of whispers fills the void of silence in the room, and she looks up as her sister enters. Talia and Noel are sisters, and they both are very skilled in magick. But the thing of it is, they don't know how to stop the kids from finding out about them and their curses.

And if Dylan and Kaia find out who did this to them, then Talia, Noel, Justin, Lucas, and all the others are in mortal danger.

And Talia cannot let that happen.

"I can't believe that boy," Noel snarls. "Justin. He said that he accidentally let Kaia go? Why on earth do we keep him around after that?"

"It's a long story," Talia says. She looks away from her sister's burning red eyes and looks at our the window in front of her. She knows she's delaying the inevitable, but she has to try. "Are you sure that you can't hack their minds? Try and get the information we need?"

"It takes a lot of my power to hack their minds from here," says Noel. "I would try, but I run the risk of alerting them to our existence. Remember, my mind opens too when I am mind reading."

"Yes. Okay, so what are we going to do?"

"Send our best demons after them," Noel decides. "We send them, get one of the two of them back here, and then we hack their minds. See what they know."

"And if they are with their friends?"

Noel smiles. "Kill everyone but Dylan and Kaia."
