Talia, Noel, and Justin stand in the middle of the room, a smile on each of their faces. They just stand there and block the doors, making it so we can't get out.

"It's time you learned why you were jinxed," Talia says.

"Jinxed?" I ask. "Why did you do that to us? Do you know how much pain we're in?!"

She laughs. "You think I honestly care about that? About how hard it is for you two to live lives where you reap what you sow."

"Talia, Noel, we don't even know you! I swear I've never even seen you before!" Dylan says.

Talia jerks like he slapped her. She narrows her eyes at him and steps closer. "You really don't remember us?" There's a terrible spark in her eyes, one that makes me grip Dylan's hand tighter.

"You honestly don't?" Noel asks, her eyes wide.

"No, we don't," I say. "But you do look familiar, I will say  that much."

She looks at Talia, and all I see there is rage. She's all rage and pain. What did we do to her?

Nothing. She's insane. Gifted with incredible powers, but not able to understand right from wrong.

I gasp. "We didn't do anything to you, you are just convinced that we did."

Noel's eyes widen and Justin stares at me in shock, but there is just pure unadulterated rage on Talia's face.

"Wait, what?" Dylan asks.

"The whispers. They never lie about things like that," I say. "All this time, Dylan and I did nothing to bring about our curses?"

She swallows and turns to look at her sister. Then she just vanishes in a plume of smoke. Noel disappears too, and Justin glares at me one last time before leaving too.

You have to make her reverse the curse. Before she enacts a second one for what was revealed tonight.

"How do we stop her from doing this all again?"

I'm afraid you'll have to kill her.
