[OLD, BEING REWRITTEN] Lexi's horrifying backstory

Chapter 2: a story begins...

Lexi hovered up to her mother Violet "mom? Please stop hitting Pong-". Lexi stopped her sentence by her mother punching her in the face. "WHY WOULD I EVER LISTEN TO YOU?! YOU'RE JUST A LITTLE BRAT THAT GETS NO LOVE! YOU DON'T DESERVE ANYTHING! YOU'RE WORTHLESS!" Violet said before calming herself. Lexi got knocked onto the floor, she coughed up blood. Lexi tried to get up, but her mother held her down. "Why don't you love me? All you want to do is abuse me and Pong.." Lexi said while sobbing. "We learned it from our parents... NOW STAY STILL OR I WILL SHOOT YOU!" Violet said while holding her daughter down with a fully loaded gun. Lexi tried not to move at all, but she couldn't stop shaking. She was so scared. Lexi punched her mother in the mouth, causing it to bleed. Lexi hovered as fast as she could down the hallway. Her mother fired one bullet, but it missed Lexi. Lexi accidentally fell down the stairs by hovering too fast. Violet just laughed at Lexi while she fell down the stairs. Lexi broke her nub on the way down and sobbed in pain at the bottom of the staircase.
