Chapter 6: not again

Lexi heard a knock on her door. Amulet went to go open the door "hello! How can I-". Amulet stopped her sentence, is this Lexi and Pongs mother? Violet pushed Amulet out of the way and stared at Lexi. "You've been a really bad daughter.. how about a punishment when we get home?". Pong pushed his mother out of the way "NO PUNISHMENTS!" Pong yelled. Violet grabbed Pong and whispered to him "are you choosing to die?". Pong sobbed "HELP ME!!". Amulet pushed Violet to the ground. Amulet held Lexi in her nubs and took Pong and ran off. Violet got up, injured. Violet hovered after them. "Let's go to my place, you two will be safe there.." Amulet said. Amulet entered her house and locked the door behind her and sat Lexi down in Amulets room. Pong hovered up to Lexi and comforted her. "You're nub will get better... I know it will." Pong said while hugging her big sister. Lexi smiled. "Thank you for being so comforting, Pong." Lexi said. "Amulet is like a mother to me, even though she is a mini kumu like us.." Lexi said while giggling a little. Pong smiled "she really does feel like one..".
