Chapter 22: Kumu Town School

The next day...

Lexi woke up and went on her way to school, Kumu Town School. When she entered the school, she got extremely shy. She didn't know anyone except for Pong. Lexi felt awkward as she hovered down the the hallway to her locker. It felt like everyone was secretly judging her. Then, a teal and pink kumu hovered up to her. Lexi looked at her and then quickly focused back on her locker. "Umm.. h-hello! I'm Bubblegum!" Bubblegum said. Lexi was too shy to say anything, but she forced herself to. "Uh, I'm L-Lexi.." Lexi said awkwardly. Bubblegum smiled. "It's very nice to meet you! I hope we have the same classes for this quarter!" Bubblegum said with glee and hovered off to her first class. Lexi smiled, she didn't think anyone could be that nice to her. Once Lexi finished shoving everything in her locker, she headed off to her first class. She felt very awkward hovering down the hallway. When Lexi got to her class, she only saw about four kumu's in the classroom. One of them was Bubblegum. Lexi laid her bang on the floor next to her desk and sat next to Bubblegum. Bubblegum smiled at Lexi. "Yay! We have the first class together! I can't wait to know more about you." Bubblegum said excitedly. Lexi turned to Bubblegum and smiled. "Yeah.." Lexi said with a nervous tone in her voice. Once everyone entered the classroom, the teacher introduced himself. "Hello, everykumu! I'm Cuppy! Your teacher, obviously." Cuppy said. Bubblegum leaned over to Lexi and whispered "Cuppy is British by the way.". "Now, how about everyone gets a turn introducing themselves!" Cuppy said. Cuppy looked around the classroom, trying to pick a kumu to introduce themself. Lexi caught Cuppy's eye and pointed at her. "You! The pink and cyan kumu with the rose flower crown! How about you introduce yourself!" Cuppy said happily. Lexi hovered out of her chair and took a deep breath. She was very embarrassed and shy. "Umm, hi. I'm uhh.. my name is Lexi and I like art.." Lexi said awkwardly. Lexi sat back down, feeling very embarrassed. "Oh wow! Okay, next!" Cuppy said as he kept choosing kumus to introduce themselves. Bubblegum turned to Lexi and said "Oh! You like art? So do I, but I mainly like gum and homework.". Lexi turned her attention back to Cuppy. "Okay, everykumu! First, we will learn about algebra." Cuppy said. Bubblegum and Lexi watched as Cuppy drew on the chalkboard, but something caught Bubblegums attention.
