TW: Implied rape, sort of trauma??

Ramona hummed along softly to the tune of the lute's song. Her music teacher applauded her. His eyes glittered with something she thought was admiration and love at the time. She thought she finally had someone who admired and loved her that wasn't her sister.

But she was wrong that time.

She had shuddered when she felt those hands on her hips and she'd realised he didn't love her afterwards. And the process continued.

That month, she'd received a letter. Her sister was in jail for many crimes, including incest with their brother.

She had taken a boat, shaken by the events of that year, to England.

Not even a year later, the king had taken a new wife, Patty Seymour. She seemed to be pretty cheerful, and she must have a lot of bad jokes to make her husband cringe. She seemed to radiate purity and normalness. These were close observations from Ramona.

In short, she was the complete opposite of Reema. God, she wished she hadn't seen her sister's beheading. At least it was by a skilled swordsman and a sword.

She got a job. She was the secretary's assistance. He was the full package, broad, dark and handsome. They got along really well, but of course it didn't last. The corset dropped and she was left shivering again afterwards.

She'd given up on looking for love, and she was sent to work in the court of the king. She was wary of him, but she slowly began to trust him. After all, he had lost his wife from a sickness a year ago, and she doubted he was over it.

He flattered her and she felt as if she'd made an actual friend, albeit a old one.

Then he had told her the very words each had told her, and shivers ran up her spine and the colour drained from her face. She had hoped it was different, but maybe it wasn't.

So she married to her sister's ex-husband at the age of 15.

It was uncomfortable. Remy, Emile and Cory didn't seem to like her much.

She at least made an actual friend. He cared about her and not her body and appearance. She occasionally gave a playful flirt, but it was as a joke.

They hung out a lot when the king wasn't towering over her. Then she had heard the words fall from his lips.

She panicked.

She was eventually sentenced to beheading for treason.

She practised laying her head on the block that night.

When she was released for her beheading, she realised she wasn't as lucky as her sister.

*A dull axe was being wielded by an obviously drunk man.* She walked up and laid her head on the block with all her grace and elegance.

The axe hit three times before she was given the sweet release of death.*

Welp, that's all done now.

*Edit: Thses are false facts. Sorry. Katherine was beheaded quickly with an axe and it was not weilded by a drunk man. Apologies.
