Hey guys, I remembered recently something that happened to me, well, like seven weeks ago and was like 'hey, angst!'

TW: Throwing up, um I guess detailed descriptions of the sickness

Roman had a sore throat. It was there and it was annoying. He knew it eventually went away but it seems to be getting even sorer.

He sat in the hospital waiting room while Remus got some throat soothers or whatever they were called.

Roman was dropped off at their home and he tried to ignore the bad taste of the soothers.

He felt kind of cold so he turned on the gas heater and lay in front of it. He felt shaky, tired and sick.

His throat still ached and he closed his eyes.

Maybe he could sleep it off. He closed his eyes until Aldous arrived home. He noticed Roman was shaking pretty badly and turned off the gas heater.

"Ro, wake up, you don't look so good."

Roman didn't feel great either. His throat felt like it was on fire and he felt quite weak.

Aldous pressed a hand against Roman's forehead.

"You might have a fever, hold on, I'll get a thermometer," Aldous said, leaving Roman for a second to get one.

When he measured the shaking boy's temperature.

"You have a fever. Patton'll be home soon with Remus and we'll see if he can make some tea or something."

Roman ended up eating very little, and only felt the stomach capacity to have soup or tea.

He went to bed pretty early but he didn't think he'd be able to stay awake.

He woke up at 1 am.

He pressed a hand to his mouth and rushed to the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet. He gagged, the taste of vomit leading to more of it escaping.

Patton rushed to the bathroom, eyes wide at the shaking boy.

"Are you done?" He asked softly, and Roman nodded weakly.

Roman shakingly walked to the bed, and Patton gestured to the trashcan.

"If you feel too weak to move, you can vomit in there."

Roman nodded, closing his eyes.

Even though he knew he couldn't sleep it off, he could deal with it in the morning.
