Prompt: 'my favourite college experience is when I had a 7 am class and the kid next to me literally poured a monster energy drink into his coffee said "I'm going to die" and drank the whole thing. Imagine your OTP meeting like this'

TW: Sleep-deprivation

Logan had dreamed of becoming a fantasy writer. It was an interesting genre and he had assessed the situation to the max and decided he had a high chance in achieving his goal.

His classes usually started at 7 am and he had prepared himself against sleep-deprivation by setting specific times for sleep and studying.

So it surprised him when the fidgety student in the class sat next to him with a coffee that was three quarters filled.

The student pulled out a monster energy drink and poured it into the coffee.

"Wha-" Logan said in disbelief.

The princely figure said simply, "I'm going to die." Before chugging the mixture down with a grimace.

He caught Logan's look of abject horror.

"I'm taking several classes at ungodly times. My first was at 5 am. I hardly get time to study for each. So I do it at night."

"What courses are you taking?" Logan asked curiously, wondering exactly what classes this handsome classmate took.

"Acting, writing, music, dance and theatre," The man said, counting on his fingers.

"Why not drop them or take the courses later on?"

"Never! I must finish them! I would never dream of giving up!" He declared dramatically, placing a hand on his chest.

Logan raised an eyebrow, "Why are you taking so many classes. Wouldn't it be better to focus on one or two?"

"Just in case. I get rejected often and I'm taking more courses as back-ups. They usually take one look at me and think I'm stupid, so I supposed taking classes might back my claims of my IQ."

Logan took note that he didn't look much like a scholar but if he was able to get into the same school as Logan, it was safe to see he was quite smart.

"I'm Logan"

"Roman."

They shook hands. Logan could only wonder how Roman was so under the radar.
