chapter 1 : first meet

The Goenka's and The Singhania's were getting ready for Naksh and Kirti's engagement.

Everyone was busy with the preparations for the engagement.

The engagement ceremony was taking place in the Goenka villa. The Goenka's were making sure everything was perfect before the Singhania's arrive.

"Manish as we still have two hours left I will go to the mandir and come back okay?"Dadi said

"Haa Maa okay...!"Manish replied

"Where is Kittu? I haven't seen him around. Did he wake up?"Dadi asked looking around.

"Aaj uska behna ki sagaee hai. He obviously must be awake..!"Manish said and looked around. Just then Kartik walked down the stairs in his handsome glory.

"Look..there he is...!"Manish said with a smile. Kartik came and hugged his Dadi. Kartik loves his Dadi so much. He always listens to her.

"Look how handsome my Kittu looks..!"she said with a smile.

"Acha now I will get late. I will go and come soon!"Dadi said and left.

At the Singhania sadan everyone was running and walking back and forth to make sure they were taking everything.

"Naitik everything is going well right?"akshara asked

"Haa akshara everything is great. Where is Naira?"Naitik asked looking around as he couldn't spot his princess.

"Main yaha hoon papa...!"Naira said walking down the stairs till in her PJ's.

"Naira?Why are you still not ready? It's your Bhai's engagement today and what are you doing?"akshara asked in shock

"Naira?did you just wake up?"devyani asked coming and Naira smiled nodding her head.

"Princess..please go get ready soon...!"Naitik said

"Mama papa you guys go. I will get ready and come. Don't worry!"Naira said

"Haa Mami I will stay back and help Naira get ready. You guys go first. We both will come on time!"Gayu said coming

"Acha fine then but don't be late!"akshara said and they nodded

"Ye kya hai? You do remember it's my engagement today right?"Naksh asked in shock looking at Naira

"Bhai still two hours there naa. Don't worry I'll reach on time!"Naira said

"I will kill you if you don't!"Naksh warned

"Bhai now go..you're fiancé must be waiting to say you!"Gayu said teasing Naksh

"Shut up!"Naksh said and left.

After sometime Naira got ready. She was applying her makeup while Gayu was packing the gift she and Naira brought for Kirti.

"Acha tell me..you met Kirti Bhabi right? How is she?"Naira asked

"She's very sweet Naira. She's so beautiful and kind!"Gayu said with a smile.
