"Bhabi what do you mean?"Naira asked in confusion which made Kirti realize what she said.

"Actually..what I meant was like you two were good friends naa during mine and Naksh's wedding. Kartik wouldn't do anything or let anyone insult you!"Kirti covered up and then Naira nodded.

Naira spent some time at her house and it was getting late and she has to go back home to get ready for the reception party.

Naira called Kartik but he was not answering. She tried few more times but he didn't pick.

"That's weird. He told me to call him. Why isn't he answering now?"Naira said it out in concern

"Maybe he is busy..!"Naira thought and just then Naksh came and heard her speaking to herself

"What happened? Is everything okay?"he asked and Naira nodded

"Did you call Kartik? Is he coming?"Naksh asked

"He is not answering Bhai..!"Naira replied

"It's okay. Come on. I will drop you!"Naksh said. Naira nodded and then they both left.

After sometime they arrived at the Goenka villa. Naksh dropped Naira and left while Naira went in and straight to her room to get ready as only one hour was left for the party to start.

Meanwhile kartik's meeting was done and he was on his way to pick Naira up. He saw her missed calls and mentally cursed himself for leaving his phone in his room and went to the meeting.

"I made her wait. She must be worried!"Kartik thought.

After sometime he reached the Singhaina sadan. Just as he was about to go in he saw another car come in. Kartik saw Naksh get down.

"Kartik?what are you doing here now?"Naksh asked

"Naksh I came to pick up Naira. She called me earlier but I was in a meeting!"Kartik said

"You should go home fast. I just dropped her off and came. I told her she should go because the party is in less than a hour. You should go as well now!"Naksh said.

"Okay thanks Naksh!I will see you at the party!"Kartik said. Naksh nodded and then Kartik left.

After sometime Kartik reached home. When he entered in he saw the house completely decorated and his family members busy. He noticed his Dadi missing here so he first went into her room. When he went into her room he saw her sitting on the bed and reading a book.

"What are you doing Dadi? The party is in less than a hour and you are still not ready? Come on now go get ready!"Kartik said

"Kittu I don't want to come. You go and enjoy!"she said without even glancing at him.

"Dadi please,at least come if you care for me and if you love me. If you don't I will take no as an answer!"he said. Kartik knew his trick was going to work and Dadi looked at him.
