It was Karvachauth day and everyone was busy making preparations for it.

Kartik was talking on his phone regarding some deal. He was standing outside near the entrance when he saw their family lawyer come.

"I will call you right back!"Kartik told the client and ended the call.

"Sharma Ji Aap? Is everything okay?What are you doing here?"Kartik asked.

"I came to give you something!"He said taking some papers out. When Kartik saw them he was hell shock and got angry after reading them.

"What nonsense is this? Divorce papers for me and Naira? What the hell is this?"Kartik shouted in anger. Just then Suhasini came.

"Kittu what happened? Why are you shouting?"She asked.

"Dadi what is all of this?"Kartik said showing her the papers. She took them and saw what they were.

"Kittu you don't need to get angry over this. You remember when you and Naira got married then I spoke to Sharma Ji about your divorce right? He said you two need to stay together for 6 months and now 6 months are over. I guess he brought them because of that!"She said.

"Kittu I didn't know you and Naira would love each other and I know I made a mistake back then but Naira will remain as your wife. Don't worry about these papers. Sharma Ji you can go now!"She said. He nodded and then left.

"Dadi if Naira see's these papers she would feel very bad!"Kartik said taking them from her.

"Naira,beta come here once!"Manish said calling Naira.

"Haa papa?"Naira asked coming into the living room.

"Did you see Kartik?"He asked.

"No papa but I am sure he is around here somewhere. Do you want me to go and call him?"She asked.

"Haa Naira. Please call him and tell him to come. I need to talk to him about some client!"He said.

"Sure papa. I will be back right now!"Naira said with a smile and went out to search for Kartik.

When she came out she saw Kartik and Suhasini talking about something and Kartik was holding some papers in his hand.

"Dadi please don't tell anyone about this. I don't want anyone to find out about them. Especially not Naira!"Kartik said and Suhasini nodded.

"Kartik?"Naira said coming startling both Kartik and Suhasini. Kartik started to get tensed thinking if Naira heard them or saw the lawyer.

"Haa..Haa Naira?"He asked

"Are you waiting for someone?"Naira asked.

"No..I am not..!"He replied

"What are these papers?"She asked.

"Actually one guy who works in our one brought them. They are office related..!"Kartik said and Naira nodded. Kartik sighed of relief after she stopped asking questions about it.
