chapter 4 : a sweet accident

The ride to Singhania sadan was quiet as both Naira and Kartik remained silent. After sometime they arrived and Naira got down.

"Thanks for dropping me!"Naira said with a smile.

"Your welcome!"Kartik replied

"Do you want to come in?"Naira asked

"No it's okay. I will come later. Bye!"Kartik said

"Alright. Bye!"Naira said and went in after Kartik left.

Next day morning Kartik came to the Singhania sadan as Suvarna sent some gifts.

"Kartik..tum..!"akshara said with a smile when she saw Kartik come in.

"Good morning aunty!"Kartik said with a smile.

"How come you came at this time?"akshara asked

"Woh aunty actually Maa sent some clothes for Naksh for the Sangeet tomorrow. So I brought them!"Kartik replied with a smile and just then Akshara's phone rang.

"Kartik if you don't mind could you please take it to Naksh's room?"akshara asked answering the phone.

"Sure aunty. Which one is his room?"Kartik asked while akshara pointed at a room upstairs.

Kartik then went upstairs and went towards that room. He was about to knock but saw the door open. He went in and the room was dark.

"Didn't Naksh wake up yet?"Kartik thought when he saw someone sleeping on the bed. He walked towards the bed.

"Naksh..I brought you some clothes...!"Kartik said trailed off when he ended up falling onto the bed when he tripped over something. He fell on someone who Kartik was assuming as Naksh. It was Naira and it was her room.

The second Kartik fell on her naira's eyes shot open. She was about to scream but Kartik stopped her placing his hand on her mouth. Just then the wind blew making the curtains to blow making the sunlight to fall in making Kartik realize that it was Naira.

Naira mumbled something and Kartik realized the position they were in. He quickly took his hand from her mouth and stood up. Naira too quickly stood up and glared at him.

"I am so sorry..I didn't mean to wake you up..I..I tripped over something and fell...!"Kartik said looking down

"Tum mere kamare main kya kar rahe ho?"Naira asked

"Apand kamare?"Kartik asked looking around

"Ji Haan!this is my room!"Naira said

"But your mama said this was Naksh's room!"Kartik said.

"Bhai's room is opposite to mine on the other side. Mama must have accidentally pointed out to my room!"Naira said.

"Naira I am so sorry. I didn't do it intentionally!"Kartik said

"It's fine. Just go now!"Naira said. Kartik grabbed the bags and left.

He then gave them to Naksh and left in hurry as he was pretty embarrassed with what happened earlier with Naira.

After Naira got ready she came into her room. What caught her attention was a phone which was lying on the floor. Naira picked it up and realized it was kartik's phone by looking at the phone lock screen wallpaper.

"His phone must have fallen earlier...well I will give him as I have to go to his house this evening...but oh god..his Dadi!"Naira thought

"Well Naira..it's your bhabi's house to right?why do you fear to her Dadi?you are brave. It's okay!"Naira said to herself.
