chapter 21 : lying to protect her

"You are my wife. I am always there for you!"he replied with a smile.

"You should go. Your meeting is today na?"she asked

"No I don't have one till the afternoon. I will come with you to the hospital..!"Kartik said.

"No it's okay. You don't have too..I will be fine!"Naira said

"It is okay Naira. I also want to check on Aditya.Go get ready first...!"he said and Naira tried to argue back but she didn't. First she got ready and then Kartik.

After that they both left the hotel. After sometime they reached the hospital.

Naira was very nervous to see Aditya in this condition. The receptionist informed her to wait outside the room for 5 minutes as the doctor is check him.

Naira stood outside the room with Kartik. Naira's heart sank when she saw Aditya through the window who was injured. He had some bruises on his face and his left leg seem to be broken.

Naira couldn't hold her tears anymore seeing her best friend in this situation.

"Naira please don't cry...!"Kartik said hugging Naira when she started to cry.

"This is my fault...!"Naira cried.

"Are you mad? How is this your fault huh?"Kartik asked

"I promised adi that I will sort out things for them but I delayed it..!"Naira said in between crying.

"Naira,this is not your fault. He came to fight for his love. You supported them. You shouldn't feel guilty for what happened to Aditya. Do you think Aditya would be happy to find that you are blaming yourself?"he asked cupping her face and wiped her tears.

Just then the doctor came out.

"Doctor,how is he?"Naira asked

"He's fine. He will get better. Don't worry!"the doctor said and left.

Without wait for one more second Naira stormed into the room followed by Kartik.

"You are such an idiot! You have no clue how much worried I was!What the hell did you decide to do huh?"Naira shouted

"Arey yaar chill..I am fine naa!"Aditya said

"Shut up! Don't you dare talk as if everything is fine!"Naira shouted.

Aditya's parents Came to take care of him. They thanked Naira for staying with him and for informing him.

Naira stayed in mussoorie for one day because of kartik's meetings and also so she and Kartik can go back home together.

After kartik's meetings were done they went to the airport.As they were on the flight back home Naira fell asleep leaning her head on to kartik's shoulder.

After few hours they reached Udaipur and reached home.

When they entered the house everyone was present in the living room. Little did they know that Suhasini was ready to make a huge scene out this now.
