chapter 13 : kartik's sangeet

"I am getting married in few days and I have to go home now...!"Kartik told Naira.

Naira remained silent for a second and then looked at Kartik who was looking at her already

"Wow..I mean that's an amazing news Kartik. Congratulations...!"Naira said with a smile.

"Thank you!"Kartik replied.

"So will you come?"he asked confusing Naira.

"I am sorry but what was that?"she asked in confusion.

"I mean to my wedding...will you come?"he asked

"Um..sure. I mean if you want me to come I would love too come...!"naira said with a smile.

"That's great then. I have to go now or I will miss the flight. I guess I will see you in Udaipur!"he said

"Yeah see you there. Bye!"Naira said. Kartik nodded and left without saying another word.

Just as Kartik left Zoya came towards Naira.

"What happened?"she asked

"Kartik..um..he invited me to his wedding..."Naira said looking at her.

"What?"Zoya asked in shock.

"Yeah!"Naira replied.

"You are not going to go right?"Zoya asked

"What do you mean by not going? Of course I will go. I mean I have to. He's family...!"Naira said.

"Well you have a choice. On top I am sure his Dadi still hates you so hey you got a reason!"Zoya said

"I don't know man. I mean I will think about it. But first let me go to Udaipur. I will think once I go there!"Naira said and Zoya nodded.

Next day Naira along with Naitik,Akshara and Naksh came back to Udaipur. Both Singhania's and maheshwari's happily welcome Naira home and they spent time together.

In the evening the Singhania's were getting ready for kartik's Sangeet.

Naira was in her room unpacking her clothes and was arranging them in her closet. Just then akshara came in.

"Naira! What are you still doing? We are leaving in sometime. Go get ready!!"She said

"Mama,I don't want to come. You guys go ahead. I will stay home!"Naira said sitting on the bed.

"What?Are you crazy? Naira you can't stay home. It's kartik's Sangeet. You two were so close during Naksh and kirti's wedding. You should at least come for him!"akshara said

"What will I do there huh mama? Do you want me to wish him happy married life or what?"Naira shot. Her mood was already bad due to the headache she was having.

"Naira,is everything okay?what happened beta?"akshara asked side hugging Naira.

"I am sorry mama..it is just...um..never mind. You guys go ahead. I will come there later!"Naira said and akshara smiled and She kissed on her cheek.
