chapter 6 : coming close to eachother

After sometime Kartik and Naira arrived at the Goenka villa with the others.

"Look they are also here..let's start the Sangeet now!"Suvarna said with a smile when they saw them come in.

"Naksh Jeju,today obviously our family will win against you guys in the Sangeet for sure!"Mansi said.

"Aisa kaise hoga?The Singhania's leader is Naira Singhania!My team always win!So you should get ready to loose!"Naira said while everyone from the Singhania's smiled.

"Acha ji,Then the Goenka team has Kartik Goenka. We also win always so you get ready to loose for the first time as you will loose for sure tonight!"Kartik said defending his time.

"Acha ji?we will see then!"Naira said standing infront of Kartik.

"Haan ji,we will!Now let's begin this party!"Kartik said.

The Sangeet started and the couples did their performances while the younger ones competed with each other.

Two more performances were left. One was Kartik and naira's and then last was Kirti and Naksh's.

Dadi was irritated by naira's presence here but Manish warned her a bit to not make any huge scenes as he didn't want any fights. Even Naira didn't pay attention to Suhasini much as it was her brother's Sangeet and she wanted this to be best. Even she avoided Suhasini and everything was going well so far.

And it was Kartik and naira's turn now. They both went onto the stage and stood infront of each other.

"Get ready to loose!"Kartik said with a smile.

"Don't expect too much. It will hurt you so much if you loose you Mendak!"Naira said with a smile.

"Mendak?"Kartik asked

"Haa because you tar tar tar too much!"Naira said stucking her tongue out.

"You always roar like a sherni!"Kartik shot

"Haa because I am a sherni!"Naira said with a proud smile.

"Tum na..ugh..music on!"Kartik shot. Both of them danced to mundiyan song.

As they danced both Kartik and Naira got close to each other and they felt some indescribable feelings which lead them to be lost in their own world.

The song ended bringing them back to the reality. Everyone clapped for them while Kartik and Naira smiled a bit and went down the stage.

The evening ended with one last performance by Naksh and Kirti.

Next day was the mehendi function. The two families decided to conduct the function at the Singhania's house.

The girls were getting mehendi applied. Kartik was sitting in the living room along with Naksh and others.

"Arey yaar my phone charging is almost over. It didn't charge it this morning and I even forgot the charger!"Kartik thought.

He stood and went towards Kirti who was getting her mehendi applied.

"Kirti,where is your phone charger? Please tell where it is. I really need to charge my phone!"Kartik said

"It is in my bag. My bag is in naira's room upstairs. Go take it from there!"she said.

"Acha okay!"Kartik said and was about to go but stopped when Kirti spoke.
