chapter 27 : naira's feelings

"Haa Naira..I love you so much..!"Kartik confessed holding her hands while Naira had no clue on how to react to his sudden confession.

"Kartik..look I think we should go home. You are not feeling well!"Naira said

"Nothing is wrong with me! I am okay. But don't change the topic Naira!"Kartik said while Naira looked away.

Kartik felt upset with her silence and started to fear if he was forcing things upon her. He moved away from her a little bit and Naira looked at him.

"Please..lets just go home!"Naira said with a low voice and Kartik nodded.

After sometime Kartik and Naira came home. On their way back home none of them even thought to say anything. Especially not Naira. She didn't even look at him and Kartik too didn't say anything else but he took glances at her in between while driving.

They went inside the house and Naira went upstairs. Kartik went into the kitchen to drink some water.

"She doesn't even want to face me now. Me and my stupid jealousness. I always mess things up in anger!"Kartik said to himself drinking water.

Then Kartik went upstairs to his and naira's room but Naira was not there.

"That's weird..she came upstairs didn't she?"he thought in confusion and went out the room.

"Naira?"he called out but got no response. Then he saw the light in the other bedroom on. He went in and saw Naira there.

"Naira?Tum yaha Kya kar rahe ho?"he asked startling Naira at first when she heard his voice. She turned around and saw him.

"You sleep there. I want to sleep here for tonight"Naira replied

"Naira..listen to me.."Kartik spoke but Naira spoke

"Mujhe neend aa rahe hai..we will talk tomorrow. Go sleep. It's already getting late...!"Naira said

"Okay fine..and I think there is nothing left to talk about!"Kartik said and left.

In the night neither of them couldn't sleep. Both Kartik and Naira thought about the times they have spent together when they met two years back and the times they have spent after their marriage.

Next day Naira woke up around 8am. After she woke up she went towards kartik's room. She stood outside the door and thinking whether or not to go in. After gathering up the courage she opened the door and went in but Kartik was not there.

"Shayad woh neeche hai..!"Naira thought and then went downstairs. He was not there in living room or in kitchen or in backyard.

She started to get worried thinking where he might be as he went somewhere without letting her know. She decided to call him and ask him.

Naira called him but he wasn't answering and she started to get tensed. After trying for another five times Kartik finally answered.

"Where are you?And how long does it take for you to answer your phone huh?You have no clue how much worried I was!"Naira shouted as soon as he answered.

"I am at office..I was in a meeting and that's why I didn't answer!"he replied and Naira sighed in relief.

"Why didn't you tell me know that you were leaving?"Naira questioned

"Tum so rahe the..aur Tum than gae the..so I didn't want to disturb. That's why I didn't wake you up!"Kartik replied

"Hmm fine then. I will see you in the evening!"Naira replied

"Actually I don't think I will make it to the dinner. Don't wait for me"he said and ended the call before Naira could even reply which hurted her

Naira wanted to talk to someone related this whole thing and she knew exactly where she should go. After she got ready she went to Aditya and Zoya's house.
