Kartik helped naira sit on the bed. He ran to bring the spray to spray on her leg. Once he came back he kneeled Infront of her and touched her ankle.

"Kartik you don't have to do this. I am fine. Give the spray to me. I will do it..!"naira said trying to take the spray from him but kartik didn't give it to her.

"Naira stay quiet and let me do it!"Kartik said and she remained silent. Naira held kartik's hand as he sprayed and she whined a little in pain.

"Is it hurting?"he asked in concern and Naira shook her head in no.

"Nothing will hurt me as long as you are with me!"Naira said with a smile.

"When you were a kid didn't you learn how to walk?"Kartik asked

"Stop making fun of me. Every single time you try to find some reason to make fun of me!"Naira said

"I am not making fun of you. I am asking it because I am concerned and I love you!"Kartik said

"Oh god fine. I will walk properly and it was not my fault okay? That Carpet was the reason!"Naira said

"Did the carpet come and kick you or what?"Kartik joked

"Shut up or else I don't know what I will do!"Naira shot

"Acha fine. Is it paining?"Kartik asked

"A little it is. But it's nothing big. Good thing I didn't broke anything. I will be fine by tomorrow!"Naira said.

"No no you will rest tomorrow complete day. If you step down the bed I will loose it!"Kartik said

"What are you talking about huh?That is not fair. I didn't undergo some surgery or anything. It's just a small sprain and you're doing this much? Please show some mercy on me Kartik!"Naira said

"You don't need to act as a drama queen. You will rest tomorrow and that's the final word!"Kartik declared and Naira sighed

"Fine!"Naira said in fake anger.

"Good girl. Now is there anything I could do to reduce your pain?"Kartik asked

"Haa there is. And I guess you must know what it is!"Naira said with a smile. Kartik smiled and kissed on her cheek.

"Wow what a magical kiss. One kiss already seems to give me a relief!"Naira joked

"Acha ji? Then this Mendak is ready to give you lots and lots of kisses!"Kartik said started placing kisses all over her face.

"Bas bas bas. Someone will come now...!"Naira said with a smile stopping him. Just as Naira stopped him the family members came.

"Naira how are you?Is it paining too much?"Suvarna asked

"Nahi maa..it is not. I am fine nothing to worry about!"Naira said with a smile.

"That's good then. But you should rest for tomorrow till the pain is gone!"Manish said

"Haa papa that's what I am saying too. I am telling her to stay in bed for tomorrow!"Kartik said

"But what will I do the whole day sitting here?"Naira asked

"Naira Kartik is right. Just for one day naa?No arguing. You will listen to this!"Suvarna said and Naira finally agreed in defeat.

"Fine now you two get some rest. We will talk tomorrow!"Manish said and left with the others.

Next day morning Kartik woke up to see Naira sleeping peacefully in his arms. He immediately smiled looking at her face.

"Look how cute she looks..Haayee..!"Kartik said with a smile hugging her.She snuggled close to him closing the small gap between them.
