<OST: Start - Gaho>
"Ajusshi!"
"What do you want this time!" The security guard groaned loudly as he turned to look at Chungha, before turning back towards the screen once more. "I already told you I'm not showing you anything! Stop bothering me! I'm busy right now!"
"No, ajusshi, look!" Chungha waved a cup of coffee and some snacks in her hands. "I got this for you! Please have it! I know how hard you work everyday, take it as an apology on behalf of all my fellow reporters that have bothered you for this past week!"
"What? I don't need it! Take it away."
Hyejin didn't anticipate him to be able to focus on her with such great intensity despite all the distractions coming from Chungha's end.
"Ajusshi, that's not nice..." Chungha pouted. "I purposely got this for you, did you know? I took time out of my precious schedule to do this but this is how you respond-"
The security guard clucked his tongue agitatedly. "Okay, okay - just leave it on the table, I'll eat it later. Thank you."
"That's better," Chungha uttered, her eyes glued on the security guard who refused to look away from the screen. "But ajusshi, why won't you look at me?"
He swatted her away dismissively. "I'm busy, I'm busy-"
Chungha had to think fast. She was Kim Chungha, she had two whole years of experience more than Hyejin did... If Hyejin thought of this idea, it was her duty to help it succeed... She was the Kim Chungha, she could do better than this-
"Omo!" Chungha yelled as she splashed coffee all over the table and the floor. "Ajusshi! Omo! I'm so sorry! What should I do! Omo! I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to-"
This was who Kim Chungha really was.
"Aigoo-ya..." The security guard finally turned towards Chungha, facepalming when he saw all the mess on the floor. "Young lady, do you really have nothing better to do? I know being a reporter is your livelihood, but is causing trouble also part of it? You're driving me insane, really-"
"Omo... I'm so sorry-" Chungha lowered her head and fake sobbed. "Ajusshi... please don't scold me any more... I've already had such a rough day, my fingers just happened to slip at the wrong time-"
"You-" The security guard's eyes darted between Hyejin and Chungha. "You-"
Chungha bawled even louder.
"Urgh-" Anyone could literally see his heart softening as he let out a deep sigh. He turned to Hyejin once more. "Young lady, you better not try anything funny."
In the corner of her eye, Hyejin saw the wink that Chungha had sent flying her way and tried not to burst into laughter. "Of course not, ajusshi. Don't worry about me."
Once the security guard ajusshi turned away, Hyejin hurriedly plugged in her thumb drive into the computer and navigated around the page to the date that the incident had happened. This was her first time working under so much tension and her heart was about to beat out of her chest, but Hyejin was enjoying every single moment of it.
"Ajusshi... I'm really sorry about this..." Chungha sobbed in the background. "But you have no idea what happened to me today... My boyfriend broke up with me right before I left for work in the morning, then my boss scolded me for showing up late to work..."
