<OST: I Wanna Say To You - Suzy>
"Urgh!" Seokjin lay on the couch, exhausted after a long day at work. "My back is gonna break! Goodness!"
"What happened?" Byulyi asked innocently as she hopped onto the couch next to Seokjin with a cup of ice cream and her laptop in hand. "You look tired today."
"Tired?" Seokjin gasped. "Exhausted doesn't even come close... Moon Byulyi, you have no idea what I had to go through today."
Byulyi raised her eyebrows as she ate her ice cream quietly. "What happened?"
"Today's filming for JK's music video went terribly-" Seokjin ranted as he closed his eyes. "Firstly, both JK and Jieun-ie weren't in top form and they got the director mad because they were wasting his time... and he didn't act very professionally after that and that got JK really mad, and Jieun-ie got injured too, and JK got even madder after that-"
"What?!" Byulyi jumped up in her seat, choking on her ice cream. "Are you talking about our Jieun? Like, Lee Jieun? She got injured?!"
"Calm down, it isn't that bad-" Seokjin said calmly. "Anyway, I'm sure she'll be fine - JK will help her fix it or something. The main point is... JK got so mad he refused to film after that and told me to fire the director! I spent the rest of my day after that settling the paperwork and sourcing out other directors we could possibly use..."
"What?" Byulyi gasped. "So you really just fired the director guy like that on the spot?"
"Mm-" Seokjin nodded slowly. "Jungkook is pretty fussy about a lot of things, but he isn't the time that would usually fire someone over something not worth firing them over. So he must have been pretty upset in order for that to happen. But he didn't realise that all the work is done by me - the handsome Kim Seokjin who is now really tired but still really handsome-"
"And humble, as we can tell-" Byulyi added on cynically. "So the director guy just backed down like that? Without demanding for his pay or anything? Or has he already been paid?"
"He hasn't been paid, and we're not intending to pay him either-" Seokjin sighed. "He wasn't doing a good job, so we don't intend to pay him. There were so many people on set that could vouch for the fact that he was basically verbally abusing our artist and staff. He backed down and agreed on our terms, so that we wouldn't sue."
"Wow..." Byulyi's jaw dropped. "That's pretty dope. So... how are things between JK and our Jieun?"
"Well..." Seokjin thought for a while. "I actually thought they were on pretty bad terms this morning. They didn't say a word on the car ride to the shoot, and they were both in very bad condition... Jieun-ie kept zoning out and Jungkook-ie kept making mistakes over and over again too. But later he stood up for Jieun-ie when she was bullied by the director and I think after that they were okay again."
Byulyi nodded slowly. "I see... I see..."
"Something weird that I realised though-" Seokjin narrowed his eyes as he recalled a small detail from earlier. "I think... they were holding hands earlier, at some point. I didn't see very clearly, but I feel like... they were."
Byulyi almost spat ice cream all over Seokjin. "Excuse me?!"
"Like, I found them in one of the dressing rooms after they ran away-" Seokjin recalled. "They were sitting right next to each other and staring into each other's eyes when I went in. And they looked really suspicious... I don't know, they made me just feel like something was going on between them."
