Michael POV

Oh, god, I am nervous. Why the hell am I nervous. I never get nervous before dates. Ok, ok it may have taken me longer than expected to choose an outfit for tonight. I want to, no, I need to make a good impression with Sabrina. My mind and dreams are still plagued with her and that gorgeous smile and those eyes. I think I may have found my soul mate.

Getting ready for tonight, I throw on a pair of black dress pants, a crisp white shirt, and my favourite woollen sweater. I actually spend time on my hair, and I have even shaved my face. All that is left to do is wait until it is time to go and pick up that amazingly beautiful woman.

I swear all I am doing is watching the clock. The time seems to be going extra slow today. "Ahhhh this is bullshit—hurry up time. I need to see her" I yell into my empty house. To pass the time, I check my work emails for the one-hundredth time. Nothing new has come through, which makes me more anxious to go and pick up Sabrina. I check my messages for her address and chuck it into my GPS. It is only a 10-minute drive from mine to hers, and I still have ages to go.

"Would it be wrong to go early? Would she think I am a stalker? A weirdo?" maybe I am crazy seeing as I am talking to myself. "Ahhh fuck it" I don't need to leave for another half an hour, but I can't wait. I want to spend as much time as possible with Sabrina. So making the executive decision, I grabbed my keys, wallet, and phone. I locked up my house and made my way to my car.

I jump in after unlocking the car, buckle up and start the engine. I take my time driving through the streets. I drive past a florist and quickly pull the car over to the side of the road. I rush into the florist and pick up a bunch of red roses. After paying, I run back to my car and get back out on the road. I make it to Sabrina's in 5 minutes. I sit in my car and check the time and notice I still have 15 minutes before I actually have to pick her up.

I take a deep breath before I open up my door. I climb out and grab the bunch of flowers and make my way up to the front door. My hands are sweating, and I feel like I am about to pass out. Knocking on the door, I wait (im)patiently for the door to open.

When the door creaks open, I see that it isn't Sabrina but her friend from the bar. "Hi, I'm Jayla. Please come in". Jayla seems like a lovely young lady. She is nothing like my favourite girl Sabrina though. She leads me through to the lounge area of the house and offers me a seat. "What are your intentions with my girl, Michael?" The questions start straight away. "To be completely honest with you Jayla, your friend has captivated my mind since I met her briefly on Monday. She is all I can think about. I found out from her boss that she would be at the bar last night, so I made sure I was there to see her."

I take a deep breath and continue with my answer "I really just want to see where tonight goes, and I hope that there will be more dates in the future after tonight. Sabrina is gorgeous, but it isn't just her looks I am after. I can see she has a story, but it is a story I hope I can help her write into the future". Jayla looks at me with an unreadable look on her face. I sit and stare back at her, feeling uncomfortable. "Michael, just please do not hurt her. As her best friend, I know what she has been through, and I don't think she would be able to handle someone leading her on and then dropping her because she isn't what you want or need. Just be gentle with her and if you do find that it is not working, let her down easy" Jayla looks at me with pleading eyes.

A noise comes from behind where Jayla and I are sitting, and we both turn our heads to see what it was. There standing in front of us is the most beautiful person I have ever seen. My eyes slowly drink in the sight before me. Sabrina is absolutely breath-taking. I can feel my member twitch in my pants. Taking a deep breath, I slowly approach Sabrina and take her hand in mine, bringing it up to my mouth and placing a very soft kiss on her knuckle. "I got these for you" I hand over the flowers to Sabrina and watch for her reaction. Her eyes light up like a Christmas tree, and I can see the blush settle on her cheeks. "They're beautiful. Thank you, Michael" She has the voice of an angel, and I am very much under her spell right now.

Jayla comes over and takes the flowers from Sabrina mentioning about putting them in water or something. To be honest, my mind is only on one thing, and that is taking this beautiful woman out for a night she will hopefully never forget. "Should we get going?" I ask, with hopeful eyes. Sabrina smiles at me and gives my hand a small tug towards the front door.

"I expect her home before midnight Michael. If she isn't, I will come looking for you, and I will make sure you never forget this evening for all the wrong reasons."
