Chapter 6

Lola's POV

Today is Friday and it's 12:00 pm and we're just in the living room talking. "So they said we can pick up Ceecee tomorrow and bring her home." Lucas said "Aww look at you two becoming Dads." Amanda said.

Chloe was about to say something but her phone started ringing, she picked up and went in another room while we continued talking. When she came back she had an unreadable expression on her face "Babe you okay?" I asked her "Claire got in trouble for pushing a kid." She said "Why?" Mia asked "I don't know but we have to go to the school." Chloe said.

"Okay." I said as I got my stuff and we left. When we got to the school we went to the principal office where we saw a girl on one side with her parents and a tear stained face Claire. We went over to her "I'm sorry." She said with tears escaping from her eyes.

"Shh don't cry it's okay." Chloe said wiping her tears. "It's not okay she pushed my child." The mother said "Yeah I know so that means your child did something to her to cause her to push her." I said. "Okay calm down please have a seat." The principle said so me and Chloe took a seat. Chloe was glaring at the other parents but I held her hand so she'll stop.

"From what the teacher told me she saw Claire come up to Aubrey and push her but I'll like to here your sides of the story Aubrey you go first." The principal said. "Well I was playing with my friends minding my business and we decided to play jump rope so they went to go get it then out of no where Claire comes and push me and she's been bullying me." She said as she lets a tear slip her eye, I bet she's lying but I don't say anything.

"Okay Claire's turn" He says "Ever since the first day of school Aubrey has been bullying me about having two moms and saying that I was a freak,then she started talking about how Mason is also a freak like me. Then today at recess Mason somehow came onto the big kid side and as I was walking towards him to help him get back to his side I see Aubrey push him and he started crying.

So I grabbed him and told Roxy to take him back to his side then I went back over to Aubrey to ask her why she did it. She said freaks don't belong here and that's when I pushed her." Claire finished, I just froze. Claire was getting bullied? Why didn't she tell us? "You liar Aubrey would never do that tell them Aubrey." Her Dad said. Aubrey didn't say nothing she was just silently crying.

"Aubrey tell them that you didn't do it now." Her mother said through her teeth. "I did do it I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to push him it was an accident, someone bumped into me as I was trying to pick him up. I'm sorry I called you and him all those names I was jealous, you guys are not pressured to be perfect all the time." She said fully crying now, Claire got up and hugged her. She's just like Chloe with their big hearts, I would've let her cry.

"You shouldn't put pressure on her like that nobody's perfect." Chloe said looking at her parents. "You don't get to tell us how to raise our child." The Dad said "I'm not but look at what all this pressure you put on her did. Now your daughter is a bully because you want her to be perfect, no one's perfect not even you two. You made mistakes and this one was a big one.

Let Aubrey be herself there's no need to put stress on her she's only 8, instead of pressure she needs love not criticism. If you criticize her she'll grow up with no type of confidence in herself. She need you two to give her complements when no one else is, she need you to love and support her, she needs you to be there for her even if she don't want you there." Chloe finished while wiping the tear off her cheek, then going to Aubrey.

"Don't crack under pressure try meditating it helps, and don't let people get to your head you gotta make sure your happy." Aubrey nodded while wiping the tears off her face. "We will be taking Mason home too." Chloe told the principal, which he nodded and handed me the sign out sheet. Then we went to go get Mason.

"You should've been a lawyer." I told Chloe "That's what our parents said." She said as we got to Mason's classroom, Chloe knocked on the door and all heads turned to her. All the kids ran to her and hugged her "Your here for Mason?" The teacher asked "Yeah." I said "Okay Mason your going home honey." She said as she helped him get his stuff together.

All the kids said bye to us and we left. "Are you okay Mason do you have a scar or anything?" Claire asked "No I'm fine." He said as I buckled him in. We got milkshakes before going home.

"What happened?" Tyler asked as soon as we got in the door. We handed them their milkshakes and explained what happened "Thank you so much Claire your such an angel." Mia said "Yeah and I would've let her cry but you got your niceness from Chloe." Rosie said. "That's what I was thinking." I said.

"You guys are mean." Chloe said "No your just too nice." Amanda said. "If I was to start acting mean there would be a whole bunch of problems ask Ivy." Chloe said "I will." Tyler said calling Ivy "Hey Tyler what's up?" "Hey Ivy what happens when Chloe starts acting mean?" "You don't wanna know that's how me and her once wasn't friends but we got back together.

Then there was this one time when everyone was scared of her in the classroom." She said "Oh okay well talk to you later." "Bye" then the phone hung up.

"I don't let that side come out because I cannot control what I say." Chloe said "Okay then don't mommy because I love you the way you are." "I love you too." Chloe said kissing Claire's cheek.
