Chapter 51

Chloe's POV

Today is the first of October and it's the evening. I keep the kids home today because I had a feeling that something was going to happen today because my discharge was bloody this morning and now I'm having contractions that last sometimes 30-90 seconds which is early labor contractions.

Yesterday Lola and Rosie put the stuff in the cars because just in case, I've been timing the contractions when I knew this was real. I called my doctor he said once the contractions starts to get closer and worse I should go to the hospital. Right now me and Claire are outside in the front walking around a little and getting fresh air.

The contractions started to get worse so I sat down in the car until it went away "Mommy are you okay?" Claire asked coming up to the car, I nodded "Okay mommy breath remember we have to keep calm for the babies." She said as we took deep breaths. "Thank you Claire." I said "Does that mean we can go to the hospital?" She asked as I another one came, I couldn't talk because they were to painful and my back is hurting so I just sat back in the car.

"I'm gonna go get Mama I'll be back Mommy." She said, the contraction went away and I was still timing them.  Lola came up to the car "It's time?" She asked "Yup." I said, Claire and Lola got in the car we put on our seatbelts and drove off.

I told my parents and Lucy to come up with the girls "How long and far apart are they?" Lola asked "So far 50 seconds and 4 minutes apart." I said as I got another one, I had the need to throw up so I opened up the window but it wasn't working "Claire give her the bag back there." I heard Lola say, Claire gives me the bag and I threw up.

When we got to the hospital we had to sign in, they took me to a room they put two things on me to check the twins heart beats and they told me that I am 5 centimeters dilated. Lola went to go get the stuff out the car.

The contractions became more painful and longer "It's okay Mom you'll get through this and when you do the twins will be born and we'll show them their new home." Claire said holding my hand "You're really helpful Claire." I told her, she smiled "Oh gosh." I said as one came again.

"Sorry I took long the nurse said she's about to come in and give you epidural." Lola said grabbing and kissing my other hand, the nurse came in and gave me the epidural and checked my blood pressure which is fine. "Epidural is a lifesaver." I said "I know you told me that when you was like this with Claire." Lola said rubbing my cheek with her thumb.

"You wanna take a bath to soothe the pain?" Lola asks me "Yes actually." I said, Lola helped me up and into the bathroom. After my nice bath I put on the hospital gown. "Chloe your other two best friends are here." Rosie said holding up a yoga ball.

I took the ball and started to lightly bounce on it "You was bouncing on it too?" I asked her, she nodded. I rested my arms on the bed as another contraction came, Rosie sat on the other side of the bed and started bouncing on a chair "Rosie what are you doing?" I asked her laughing a little "We're bouncing." She said.

The nurse came in to see how much progress I made, I'm 8 centimeters dilated now and it's 12:00 am. "We got water and snacks." Cleo said as her and Lily came in the room "Pass the water." I say as hold my stomach, this one was way worse. "The bag." I say, I throw up in the bag. I go in the bathroom and clean my mouth then drink the water.

"Hey Chloe." Naomi said "Hi Naomi." I say hugging her "You know they didn't tell me that my favorite people was here until now?" She asked "We was starting to wonder where was you." Lola said "Oh my gosh is this Claire she's adorable." "Thank you." Claire said, Naomi birthed Claire and we made a bond that's why me and Lola trust her so much.

"Alright Chloe you are now 10 centimeters dilated so we're going to head over to the operating room." Naomi says, I nod and smile because my babies are coming into the outside world but the smile don't last long because of a contraction.
