Chapter 35

Cleo's POV

Today is Friday and I feel like shit, I miss Sam and every time I try to get near her she'll leave, Carter has been driving me crazy he almost got to have sex with me but I stopped him, Me and Lily had an argument, I stopped eating and lost a couple of pounds.

My parents keep asking me if I'm okay I just lie and say yes even though I know they don't believe me. Right now it's lunchtime but I don't feel like eating so right now I'm walking to the bathroom when I see Sam and another girl making out by the lockers.

I feel anger build up inside me but I shouldn't be mad because she's not even mine. I just walk pass them and go into the bathroom and I sit on the window seal and get on my phone "What happened to you?" I heard Vivian's voice asks as she sat next to me " I feel like shit." I tell her "What happened to the confidence that you had at the beginning of the week?" She asked.

"A lot happened for me this week." I tell her "Can I tell you something?" I ask her, she nods "Carter is blackmailing me into dating him." I told her "I knew there was a reason why you looked so unhappy but what do he got on you?" She asked "A picture of my sister and she's doing something that can mess up some things." I said.

"He said he got it from a little birdie but I don't know who." I added "Well I do be seeing him and Brianna hanging out a lot." She said "Like hanging out or Netflix and chill hanging out?" I asked "Both." She said sounding disgusted. "I'll get their phones and see if I can delete the pictures for you." She said "Thank you so much." I said hugging her "No problem I'll just text you when I did it." "But you don't have my number." I said, she took my phone out my hand and texted her phone.

"Now I do." She said, then we went back to class.

After school I was walking to my car when Carter came up to me "Hey babe you wanna hang out?" He said putting his arms over my shoulders "Can't going to Chloe's." I said removing his arm "You don't have to go, as my girlfriend we should be hanging out." "Can I see your phone?" I asked him as I see Vivian behind us, he went quiet "Well as your girlfriend I should be able to see your phone without a problem." I said.

He gave me his unlocked phone but it was different "You really think I'm dumb give me your other phone too." He sighed and gave it to me "Unlock it." He did then I handed it to Vivian. "Why did you give her my phones?" He asks "For a project." I say "Done." She said handing back the phones and leaving I was about to do the same but he grabbed my arm "Cleo what are you doing your playing in hot water right now." He says, I got closer to him.

"And your playing with Fire." I said as I snatched my arm away from him and got in my car. Me and Lily was going to Chloe's house straight after school so we're on the road and our stuff is in the back. The boys had to do something so they couldn't come.

"You obviously don't like him why are you with him?" Lily asks angrily "Lily I'm not doing this with you." I said "Yes you are and then you got Vivian helping you? That's what it comes to now?" She asks "Lily we're not doing this while I'm driving." I said and she just sat there mad.

I got a text message from Vivian as I was coming into the gates "So is she your best friend now?" Lily asked angrily as we got our stuff "She was just helping me with something." I said as I unlocked the door "Yeah something I could've helped you with."

"No you could not your not close to the person like she is." I said "And you are?" "I never said I was if I was I would've did the damn thing myself." I told her "So she knows what's going on? Cleo I don't even know what's going on and all of a sudden you got her helping you?" She was red.

"Girls what happened?" Chloe asked "I don't know why don't you ask Cleo and her new best friend." "We're not even friends." I said "Then why can you tell her why you went back to that jerk but not me and the boys. We're your family Cleo and you can't even trust us but you can trust her enough to let her know why you stop eating, why you stopped being happy, and why you don't have the same confidence as you did on Monday." She said.

"I didn't tell her all that I only told her what she needed to know so she can help me." I said "Help you with what?" "I'm being blackmailed by Carter, he said if I don't go back to him he'll post a picture." I said "What picture?" Chloe asks "I sent it to you on Monday." I told her "I didn't have my phone on Monday Claire accidentally took it." My eyes widened.

"Has she been acting different this week?" I asked "Yeah she's been moody." Lola says "Chloe check your phone." She pulls out her phone and gasp "Who took this?" She asks handing her phone to Lola. "Brianna you know the girl who has chlamydia and was talking about me." I say "I gotta talk to Claire." Chloe said.

"Good luck she got her attitude from you." Lola say to Chloe who's at the top of the stairs. "I'm sorry Cleo." Lily says "Don't worry your like my own Rosie." I say hugging her, Rosie smiled "Don't blame us we're just too protective." Lily said which we all laughed.
