Chapter 14

Claire's POV

Right now I'm in school and we're working on a math sheet and I'm the first one done so I raise my hand. "Yes Claire?" Ms. Robinson says from her desk "I'm done with my math sheet." I said.

"Come here let me check it." She says so I get up and give her the paper "Good job Claire you got them all correct. Do you wanna go around and help people?" She asks "Yes." I said "People who need help raise your hand and Claire will help you." I started on the right side and worked my way to the left.

After me and Ms. Robinson graded the papers it was lunch and recess we grabbed our coats and went outside. There's three different parts of the playground the baby section were the kindergarteners are, then in the middle there's swings for the big kids 3rd and 4th graders, then on the other playground that's were the 2nd and 1st graders are.

We could easily come onto each other sides if we wanted to but the kindergarteners have a gate stopping them. Me, Amber, and Roxy was on the swings when I saw a girl who looked like Ceecee sitting down crying.

I stopped my swing and got off "Where are you going Claire?" Amber asked "Over to my cousin." I said as we got closer to Ceecee, I sat beside her "What happened Ceecee?" I asked her "I fell." She said as I wiped her tears. "Aww come here." I said pulling her into my lap and hugging her.

"She got a scar on her knee." Roxy said before going over to her teacher then ours before coming back to us. "Come on we're taking her to the nurse." Roxy said, when we got in the building I picked Ceecee up I just wanted to carry her.

"Ms. Jones Ceecee fell and has a scar." I said sitting Ceecee on the table "Okay let me get the stuff to clean it." She said going into her cabinet, I decided to distract Ceecee while she's doing it "Ceecee these are my friends Amber and Roxy." "Hi." She said shyly "Claire we should have a sleepover." Roxy said "Yeah we should I'll ask my moms." I said "Yeah and it could maybe be this Friday." Roxy said.

"You wanna be apart of the sleepover Ceecee?" Amber asked her "Yes." She said "And done." Ms. Jones said as she put on the band aid. "Come on lets get you back to class." I said helping Ceecee down.

We said bye to Ceecee and went back to class.

Now it's the end of the day and I run to my parents while Amber and Roxy do the same "Can I have a sleepover?" "Wow no hi." Momma says, I hug them and say hi. "Yeah you can have one but you gotta make sure their parents are okay with it." Momma said as Amber and Roxy came over with their parents.

We went over to Mason and Ceecee "Hi Mason." I said as I hugged both of them "Hi Claire guess what." "What?" "We got to paint today." "Really that's awesome what did you paint." "A dinosaur." "That's amazing what about you Ceecee?" "I got to help the teacher and it was so fun." She said jumping up and down.

"Me too." I told her before we was called so we went back over to our parents. "So can we have a sleepover?" Roxy asked "Yes and I'll pick you two up on Friday." Mommy said "Yay." We said hugging each other. Then we said bye to each other and went home.

When I got in my room I did my homework, then gave Snickerdoodle a treat and cleaned the little mess he made. Then I cleaned his litter box then helped Ceecee and Mason clean theirs. "What are you guys doing?" Danielle asked us "Cleaning Mocha's cage." Mason chose the smallest bunny, Ceecee chose the bunny with the lighter nose that's how we can tell our bunnies apart.

"Do you guys need help?" She asked "No thank you we're finished and need to wash our hands." I said as we entered the bathroom and washed our hands. Then we went downstairs to the kitchen and got some lettuce and gave it to them, then we went in the living room.

They was watching a movie and Rosie was in it "Maman it's you." That's what Mason calls Rosie and he calls Mia 'Mim'. "Yeah it's me, that reminds me there's these other movies I wanna audition for." She said. "Cookie guess what?" Mommy said, she barked "You get to see your sister." Cookie got excited but then she calmed down.

I was playing with mommy's hair because she just got it all out in curls. "I can't wait until Friday." I said as I put mommy's hair in a high ponytail. "What's Friday?" Dani asked "Me, Amber, Roxy, and Ceecee is having a sleepover." I said "Really?" Tyler asked Ceecee.

"Yeah Daddy we talked about it when I went to the nurse." Ceecee said as she sat on Tyler's leg. "Why was you at the nurse?" Lucas asked "I fell and Claire and her friends took me to the nurse." She said while playing with Cinnamon. We ate dinner then took our showers, then Mason and Ceecee got in my bed. Ceecee started singing softly.
