Chapter 45

Lola's POV

"Babe?" I heard Chloe's voice "Mhm?" "Can you get me some apples and peanut butter please?" She asked, I opened my eyes to find our room pitch black. "Why is it so dark?" I asked.

"I think we're having a blackout." She said turning on her flashlight and giving it to me. I walked out the room and went downstairs to the kitchen. I found the apples and peanut butter, Chloe don't even like peanut butter but okay. "That's for Chloe?" Rosie said.

"Yup the twins are doing something to her because she doesn't even like peanut butter." I said as Rosie grabbed another apple "That's for Mia?" I asked "No Mia wants pickles and ice cream hopefully it didn't melt yet." She said going in the freezer and getting the ice cream.

"Still frozen but it's melting." She said as she put it in the bowl. I put the peanut butter on the apples, Then Chloe and Mia came downstairs "You guys should've stayed upstairs it ain't safe." I said "But I didn't want to stay in a dark room by myself." Chloe said sitting down and eating her apples "And Rosie is taking to long." Mia said.

"Sorry sweetheart." Rosie said as she placed the bowl in front of Mia "Wait are the twins sharing a sac or do they have their own?" Mia asked "They share one but it's like a thin line separating them from each other." I said and she nodded.

"What are you doing princess?" I asked Chloe "Looking at pandora bracelets and charms." She said showing me her phone "The tiny baby ones are so cute." Mia said "But the little shoes are cuter." I said "No their little hands." Rosie said "No the best thing about a baby is when you put baby lotion on them." Claire said coming in the kitchen.

"What are you doing up?" I asks her "Well I was reading my book that you got me but then my light turned off and I had to comfort Mason and Ceecee because they was scared." She said as she sat down, then we heard a loud bang which scared us but mostly Claire. "Don't worry Claire it's just thunder." I said rubbing her back as she leaned into me.

"Mim I'm scared." Mason said as he came in the kitchen "Aww my poor baby." Rosie said picking him up "Where's Ceecee?" Claire asked "She ran to Uncle Tyler and Lucas room after she walked me downstairs." Mason said. I looked over at Chloe she was dosing off but the power came back on.

"Come on Chloe time to get you back to bed." I said "I don't feel like going upstairs, Mia can you take us to my other room?" Chloe tiredly asked "Where's the keys?" Mia asked "Here." She said handing over the key to Mia, Mia took us to a door and unlocked it "Woah." I say.

I gently place Chloe on the reclining chair and slowly recline it. "What is this place?" Rosie whispers "A place where Chloe go to relax." Mia whispers back "But you guys wasn't suppose to know." She added, we looked at the kids they was cuddled up on a chair and sleep.

"Well it looks like we're staying in here" I said laying on the couch even though I was going to stay in here with Chloe regardless. Mia sat in the chair next to Chloe with the help of Rosie then Rosie laid on the other end of the couch.

Cleo's POV

The power finally came back on this whole time me and Sam was just talking while I played with her necklace that said Angel that I got her for her birthday because she's my angel and I'm her goddess.

I thought about after the summer break, I won't be able to see Sam because she's going to college and what if she find someone better than me. I started crying thinking about her finding someone else "What happened gorgeous?" Sam asked sitting us up "Promise you won't leave me." "Your stuck with me forever." She said wiping my tears and kissing me.

"Now what made you think that?" She asked "After the break is over I won't be able to see you because your going to college and what if you find someone new." I say "Cleo I can never find someone new when all my heart want is you, Cleo I love you and don't forget that." She said, I smiled "I love you too." I said kissing her.

"How do I know your not going to find someone new?" Sam asked "Because I'm yours and your mine and nobody else holds the key to my heart." I said intertwining our hands. "Good but quick question." "What's up?"

"What are you going to do when Chloe or Mia go into labor and your not here?" She said, we're at Chloe's house. "Well I hope my parents take me out of school or at least keep me home if they start feeling anything because I really wanna be there. I wasn't there for Claire's birth but I can for the twins." I say.

Later on we was still talking about it and I told her she might be in the delivery room "I thought only family is supposed to be in the delivery room?" She asks, I was going to say something but Chloe came in "You Sam are apart of this family but the only one that's going to be in room with me is Lola because people who have multiple babies delivery the babies in the operating room god forbid something happens to them." Chloe said.

"But still we want to be there." Lily said "That's fine by me." Chloe said "But what if they keep us in school like they did with Claire." I said "Don't worry Ms. Miller will understand why you guys are out of school." She said.

"What's up with you and her anyway?" Sam asked "Her and Chloe used to flirt all the time." Rosie said coming in the living room "But you was 17 and she was 22." I say "So nothing else happened." Chloe said her voice getting lower "You liar." Rosie said throwing a pillow at her, we laughed.

"What happened?" Lily asked "Her husband walked in on us but he didn't care because he said he was going to see someone." She said. "Oh wow but what happened after?" "I stopped it, her and her husband was sexually active again." She said.

"What are you guys talking about?" Lola asked as she handed Chloe a plate "Nothing just how Chloe and Rosie used to be in high school." Sam said. Lola nodded and went out the living room "And you said you didn't sleep with anyone older when we was playing never have I ever." Rosie said "And you didn't say anything then." Chloe said "Because I wasn't sure." She said.

"Well I forgot." Chloe said "Chloe you know I don't like you?" "Yeah because you love me." Chloe said, Rosie playfully rolled her eyes "Whatever."
"That's best friend goals right there." Tyler said "What about me and Lola?" Lucas said pouting "Lola don't pay any attention to you." Avery said.

"Yes she do." Lucas called Lola into the living room "What's up?" She said, Lucas hugged her "Get off me dumbo." She said "Nope not until you hug me back." "I will burn you." She said. "No you won't." "Why not?" "Because you love me and you know I will taunt you from the dead." Lucas said "You win can you get off me now?" "Fine." Lucas said backing up.

They was playfully hitting each other like kids until Lola hit Lucas and ran, he ran after her. We laughed at them before going back to talking.
