Chapter 24

Cleo's POV

I just got done talking to Carter and I think I'm falling for him, he changed into a gentleman for me an insecure girl. But he didn't mind that, he didn't mind complementing me every day.

He could've picked another girl but he chose me. "Hey Lils?" "Mhm?" She said from her bed "What are you going to do if you see Ethan and this girl that he was talking about?" I asked her "Nothing because I'm the one who broke up with him." She said.

Then the boys came in our room "Okay rules no drinking, make sure to stay in sight, and keep your phone somewhere where you can feel it vibrating if some calls you." Thomas say, we nod as my child comes in the room and lay on me.

"Hi Cupcake." I said petting her, she barked "We should start getting ready." Landon said as him and Thomas left "Lily I almost forgot the tights for you." Chloe said coming in and handing Lily the tights "Thank you." Lily said before Chloe exited the room and closing the door in the process.

After we was done we went over to our body mirror and took some pictures and I was feeling myself today. Then we went downstairs and had to take a picture with the boys because why not. "You kids have fun." Dad said kissing my head, then Chloe came up to us "I'm really loving this energy so don't let anyone ruin your mood or I will ruin their life." She said, which caused us to laugh.

We left at 8 and got in the car, we got in Landon's car because we didn't feel like driving. When we walk in the party Sam comes up to us "Hey guys I didn't know if you guys was coming or not." She said hugging us, I hung out with Sam a couple of times she's very interesting.

I felt arms wrap around my waist and I knew it was Carter because everyone rolled their eyes they don't like him. "Hey Cleo." "Hey Carter." I said looking at him "You wanna dance?" He ask me "Yeah sure." We went further in the house and everyone was dancing so we started too.

"I'm gonna get some water." I told Carter, I don't know if he heard me but I left. I went to the kitchen and drunk my water and I saw Christmas cookies so I took one. "Tired?" Sam asks coming up beside me "No just had to get some water." I said showing her the water bottle.

"Well me being the good friend that I am, I brought you food." She said putting a plate of pizza and hot wings in front of me "Thank you, your an angel." I said as I started eating "Well if I'm an angel your a goddess." Sam said which made me laugh.

"Well if I am then bow down." I said playfully, she playfully bowed. We continued talking until I was done with my food and had to check myself and wash my hands. I found a bathroom and used it and checked myself, still looking good. I felt my phone vibrate.

Thomas: Cleo where did you go?
                                       Cleo: bathroom
Landon: Have you seen Lily?
Lily: In a room by myself I had to get away.

I exit the bathroom and decided to look for Lily in the rooms. Some was empty some was taken but no Lily, I opened another door and what I saw was heartbreaking. It was Carter with his tongue down someone's throat and about to take her clothes off, I slammed the door and walked away and text Lily, Thomas, and Landon to meet me outside.

"Cleo.... Cleo wait." I heard Carter calling me but I just walked outside "Cleo please wait." He said, I turned around "Why should I Carter?" I asked him "It's not what it looks like." He said, I laughed "It's not what it looks like? Well tell me what it looks like because I saw you kissing another girl." I told him. "She kissed me." He said.

"Bullshit even if she did kiss you, you didn't stop it. Carter I trusted you, you said that you was going to change, I'm just stupid for believing you." I felt tears coming but I blinked them back "I did change." "Are you really gonna tell me that after what I just saw?" "Cleo I'm sorry, I was just so horny." He said "So you decided to have sex with another girl because you can't keep it in your pants and wait?" I asked.
