Today is Thanksgiving and Mom finally let me stay in the kitchen more than usual like she didn't teach me how to cook for no reason. Something has definitely been up with Cleo, she's staying in her room more, and wearing a whole bunch of Sam's clothes.
That was until me and Bryson dragged her away from her room and now she's playing with the kids but I can still tell she's upset. "Chloe I think we need ice." "For what we can get ice from the refrigerator. Are you trying to kick me out of the kitchen again?" "Yes." "Well Damn, that's hurtful." I said.
"I actually need marshmallows for the potato soufflé." She said "Okay." I say as my phone dings.
Sam♓️ Hey Chloe Happy Thanksgiving can we met up?
Chloe♒️ Happy Thanksgiving Sam and yes we can I was just about to go to the supermarket anyway.
Sam♓️ Thank you
"Alright, I'm going to get marshmallows and whipped cream." I said, "I didn't ask for whipped cream." Mom says "I know I'm gonna put it on the strawberries." I said walking out the kitchen and to the door. "Mommy where are you going? Can I come?" Claire asked, "I'm going to the supermarket, and not this time Claire okay?" She nods and runs off.
I put on my shoes and go outside "Benjamin." I call out "Yes Chloe?" "I need you to drive me to the supermarket please." I say getting into the car, he drives me to the supermarket where Sam is waiting outside.
"Hey, Sam are you okay?" I asked her "I messed up." She says as we walked into the store "What did you mess up with?" I ask "Cleo didn't tell you?" She asked confused, I shook my head "She didn't tell anybody anything." "Well me and her had an argument and I made her believe that I don't trust her." She says.
"The same thing happened with me and Lola all you guys have to do is sit down and talk, it really helps but if you guys need space from each other then you should tell each other." I said, "Thank you and what happened with you and Lola if you don't mind me asking." I laughed a little "I don't, she thought I was cheating on her but it was really her aunt texting me that her and Landon were getting on the private jet.
But it took us the almost whole day of Thanksgiving to actually talk to each other." I said as I paid for the stuff "When should I talk to Cleo?" Sam asks "Whenever your ready." I said as we got outside "Thanks, Chloe." She said hugging me "Your welcome and remember what I said." I told her as she started walking away and I started walking to the car "I will." We say bye and I go back home.
I take off my shoes and coat then wash my hands and give my mom the marshmallows. "What took you so long?" She asked, "I was talking to someone." I said as I got the strawberries from the refrigerator.
I cut up some and put them in a bowl and put whipped cream on them, I offered my mom some she said no so I told her she better not ask for some later. Then I went into the living room the babies was on the floor having tummy time so I laid by them on the floor on my stomach just like them.
"Mommy, why did you take so long?" Claire asks as she lays on my back "I was talking to someone." I said, "The twins missed you." She said, "And you didn't?" "Of course I did but you wanna know who missed you the most?" She asked "Who?" "Mama." She whispered, "Did she now?" I asked raising an eyebrow at Lola, she blushed "Adorable." I said putting a strawberry in my mouth.
Cory started making gurgling sounds "Really?" I asked him, he continued until Roselyne joined "Oh wow then what?" I asked them, Lory joined "Okay one at a time." I say and they let Lory talk. Mia joined us on the floor, I gave Lola the rest of my strawberries and whipped cream.
I had my arms out but I guess the twins thought I was reaching for them because they were trying to crawl to me, I told Mia to do the same for Roselyne. They were grunting but was making progress until they laid down "Aww are you guys tired?" Lola asked as she sat next to me.
I placed their hands on their sides so they can try to crawl again, they started to cry "No don't cry you're almost there. You guys are so close." Rosie said trying to crawl with them, we laughed at her which caused the babies to stop trying to crawl and laugh. "Aww." Me and Mia say, then I get their favorite toy.
"Cory Lory look you want your toy?" Since they got closer I moved back a little, Lory got to me first and got the toy. Cory started crying so Lola picked him up and gave him a different toy, we took them to our room to change and feed them but they need a bath, and me and Lola needed to wash up anyway.
I took the shower with Lory while Lola took a bath with Cory. They love taking baths or showers me and Lola switched babies after I finished feeding Lory. "You know your gonna have to go back to playing games?" I asked Lola "I know but twins are a lot to deal with." She said grabbing the baby lotion.
"I'll manage and I got their big sister helping me." I said as she passed me the lotion "Well there's a game next week." She said, "Well you should go so all that practice doesn't go to waste." I said kissing her the twins decided to join us, we pulled back laughing.
They look so cute in their outfits me and Lola propped them on the bed and gave them a toy to keep them busy while we get dressed.
