Chapter 16

Claire's POV

Today was our last day of school for Thanksgiving break but we're out of school now. "I can't wait to start the sleepover." Amber said "Me too but why did we have to bring our swimming suits?" Roxy asked.

"For either the indoor pool or hot tub." Momma said as she drove in the gates Amber and Roxy gasped when they saw the house. We got out the car and I helped Mason and Ceecee get out from the back. We went inside after Amber and Roxy got their bags and I introduced them to everyone.

Now we're in my room "Snickerdoodle is so cute he reminds me of one too." Amber said hugging Snickerdoodle, Mocha came in the room "Hey Mocha where's Mason?" I asked him even though he's not going to answer. He started heading out the room so we followed him to Mason's room.

"Mason?" I asked as we entered his room, we heard noise in the bathroom so I slowly opened the door to see Mason throwing up. "Guys go get Mia and Rosie." I told them, they ran out the room. I stopped the three bunnies from going in the bathroom.

"What happened Claire?" Rosie asked coming into the room "Mason is throwing up." I said pointing to the bathroom. Rosie and Mia go in the bathroom as Mason stopped throwing up and leaned on Rosie "Aww my poor baby is sick." Mia said feeling Mason's forehead.

"Can I get water and a blanket?" Mason asked, I went to go get him some water. When I got back Mason is in bed so I hand Mia the water "Thank you Claire." She said as Mason sat up and took small sips. "You think he's dehydrated?" Mommy asked from the door.

"I don't know Mason did you drink water?" Mia asks, he shook his head no. After he drunk all his water he fell asleep so me, Amber, Roxy,and Ceecee went back to my room and went to sleep.

In the morning we was woken up by Cinnamon and Snickerdoodle. We go downstairs and Mason is on the couch sitting with Mocha "Are you okay Mason?" Roxy asks him "Yes." He says "Did you drink water yet?" I asked him, he starts to get up.

"Come on we're all drinking water." I say as I pick up Mason and go to the kitchen we're Mommy is cooking. "Chloe can we have some water?" Ceecee asks, she gives us cold water bottles from the freezer. We say thank you before going to the living room.

I drink half of the water bottle "I'm gonna go change the bunnies food and water." I said getting up "I'll help." Roxy said getting up. Me and Roxy changed the bunnies food and water quickly then washed our hands before going to the dining room.

"Where was you two?" Lucas asked "Changing the bunnies food and water." I said as me and Roxy sat down "That's right it's been a week." Mommy said "Do we get to keep them?" Ceecee asked, Mommy and Rosie looked at each "Yes." They both said. "Yay." Me, Mason, and Ceecee says.

After we was done eating we watched some movies then decided to go to the indoor pool. "Do you know how to float on top of the water?" I asked Amber and Roxy "No." "Yes." Roxy said no and Amber said yes.

"Okay Roxy lay on our hands." She does "Now just be calm, breathe and relax." Me and Amber slowly back away from her and she was floating. "Your doing it." Amber says then Roxy put her body back in the water.

"Can you teach us too?" Mason asks "You guys are gonna have to get in the water first." Roxy tells them, we move a little down to the shallow end and they jump in and swim to us. And we go over the steps but as they are doing it the door closes scaring them. "Sorry." The twins say, we go back to teaching the little ones and they did it.

We swim until we have to go in for lunch, Maggie made us her famous quesadillas that we love. "Do you guys wanna make a cake?" Mia asked us and we all said yes. So after we ate we started making a cake with Mia.

"So do you guys wanna make a rainbow cake?" "Yes." We say, then she call Rosie into the kitchen. "Yeah baby?" Rosie said wrapping her arms around Mia "Can you go get us some food coloring?" "Sure what colors?" "The rainbow." Mason said.

"Alright I'll be back." Rosie said kissing Mason's forehead and grabbing her keys. We got the stuff ready and started mixing them together. "Here you guys go." Rosie said putting the food coloring on the counter.

We split up the batter in the big bowl into 7 other bowls and we each mixed in a color. Mia put in the first 4 then we went in the living room to find the bunnies sleeping on the couch "Aww." We all say quietly, a hour and a half all the cakes was done and now we're frosting them, putting them together, and adding sprinkles.

"And done." Mia said putting on the last of the sprinkles, she takes a picture then cut our slices. "Mm" Amber says and we laughed. After we ate our cake me, Amber, Roxy, and Ceecee went to Mommy and Momma's closet and picked out heels.

We wore our own clothes and decided to put the heels on when we get downstairs. We walked in the living room but only Momma was in there "Oh Claire your mother is going to get you." She said "I want everyone to see us." I said "Well hide because they're coming." We hid behind the wall, Ceecee peeked out "Are they all there?" I whispered, she nodded.

We walked out "You guys look good." Rosie said "Thank you." Ceecee said, Mommy looked at us then her shoes "At least the heels match with the clothes just put them back when your done." She said before going back to lay on Momma with Cookie in her lap.
