Chapter 10

Lola's POV

We got up really early everyone took their showers and is wearing something warm and comfortable because it's fall.

"This weather makes me remember when we went apple picking and we met Lily." Chloe said "Yeah and Lola had no idea who I was." Lily said "And that's where we met Thomas at too." Cleo said.

Chloe always brings snacks for everyone I asked her why, she said that we should have snacks and not be on the bus without snacks. She's so thoughtful but if someone other than me or the kids touch her mangoes she'll go crazy, so nobody touch her mangoes. "What type of fruits did you get?" Rosie asked "Apples, bananas, my mangoes, watermelon, and berries." She said.

"You got a lot don't you?" Lucas asked "You guys know how I like to make fruit salads and the players don't complain." She said. "Chloe exactly how many mangoes you got?" Dani asks.

"15" she mumbles but we heard her "For who?" Tyler asked "Well everyone here got their own." She says "You don't got two this year." I told her "Yeah I know but it makes me look like I'm addicted to them." Chloe said as the bus stopped in front of us.

"Hey Lola and Chloe." My teammates said as we came on the bus "Hey guys." I said as I went to my seat "Hey." Chloe said as she came behind me. Everyone was on the bus and the driver started driving. "So Lily did you and Ethan start dating?" Chloe asked Lily "Yeah last week." She said "Okay what about you Coco?" She asked.

"You know how I told you guys about Carter the 17 year old senior who have a crush on me?" She asked "Yes." Claire said "Well I decided to give him a chance and he only got one." She said "You know I always thought you two would be a cute couple." Lily said. "All the seniors told me that." Cleo said.

"So when are practice days?" I asked Sarah "Tonight then every night until the game." She said "Thanks." A couple hours into the ride Chloe passed out the fruit salads to people.

Chloe gave me a granola bar because I didn't want my fruit salad yet. There was silence until Chloe decided to play Captain Hook by Megan Thee Stallion clean.

"Chloe that's not appropriate for the kids." Amanda said "They got their head phones in watch." She turned it down and called their names "They can't hear me." She said turning it back up. Then Act up by City Girls
came on and let me tell you Chloe and Rosie thought this was club, I was sitting there hyping her up.

Chloe eventually put on appropriate songs because the kids took out their headphones. Chloe started eating mango she used her teeth because she didn't want to cut herself and she didn't want to bring a knife.

We finally got off the bus and people rushed up to us to get pictures with us. "Oh my gosh it's Chloe." A little girl said running up to Chloe, which Chloe picked her "Hey what's your name?" She asked "Riley." She said.

"How old are you Riley?" "I'm six and can I get a picture?" She asked "Of course." Riley's mom took the picture and Chloe said bye to her.

Then we went in the hotel we got the room we get every year. "You guys already know who's sleeping where?" Chloe asked. We all nodded "Good now lets go get some food." Chloe said walking out the door with the kids behind her, we followed them.

Chloe always got bad bitch energy that's what makes her so fun. A guy just tried flirting with her and said he could be the kids step dad, she showed him her ring and walked away playing U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer.

"Badass." Rosie said "I need to learn how to be like that." Cleo said "Me too." Lily agreed. We got to the buffet and got food.

"What time do you have practice?" Chloe asked "I think 8 and probably be back by 10:30." I said "Why so long?" Tyler asked "Because the coach want practices to be either 2 and a half hours or 3 hours." I explained.

When we got done eating it was 7 and I had to be ready by 7:30 to get on the bus so we could go to the gym. I made it on the bus and sat next to Sarah "Hey Lola?" Anna said "Yeah?" "How do you not get mad when people flirt with Chloe?" "Because I know that she's mine and she's the one who said I do and she's very loyal.

And by people flirting with her means that's she's pretty and I'm not gonna get mad for someone else complementing her because she is pretty." I said "And plus you should've seen her today this guy was trying to flirt with her she showed him her ring and walked off playing U Can't Touch This." Hazel said laughing.

"And who's the quiet little girl?" Victoria asked "She's Lucas and Tyler's daughter she's attached to Chloe." I said "I mean ain't all kids somehow attached to Chloe?" Sarah asked "True." I agreed.

"Alright ladies off the bus." Our coach says, we get off the bus and go into the building and to the gym. "Ladies start with your warm ups." We start stretching then we start with our warm ups.

After we're done with warm up we run a mile around the gym then we start doing drills. After practice is done we get back on the bus all sweaty which is a disgusting feeling.

When we get back to the hotel we go to our rooms. Everyone is asleep so I quietly come in and take a shower and put on pajamas and get in bed and go to sleep.
