After everything that happened last night, I tried to pretend it did not happen. I highly doubt I am going to run into those strangers ever again anyways.

I tried to stay focused all day during my classes, but my mind kept wandering back to those damn green eyes from last night. There was just something about them, like an allure into things unseen.

Lunch is almost over, and I leave the cafeteria to grab my things for English before the bell rings. I round the corner, pulling out my planner from my bag to get the combination, and grab what I need from my locker.

From the other end of the hallway, I hear a group of guys laughing and cracking jokes, yet I pay no mind to it. I put my things in my book bag while carrying my planner in my other hand before closing the locker.

I turn to make my way towards Ms. Thomas's class when I bump into someone. I dropped my planner in the process and we both bent down to grab it.

"Here I got it," a deep voice, with a hint of humor probably still from the laughing they were just doing, says as he reaches first for my planner.

I looked up and met with a chiseled jawline, luscious pink lips, and silky blonde hair begging me to run my fingers through them. But what really caused all the air to escape my lungs were the sparkly green eyes that have been on my mind all day.

Not wanting him to recognize me, I stand up straight and bolt down the hallway, ignoring his calls for me to come back.

I spent the rest of the day trying to avoid running into that guy. I made it through two more classes before heading to last period and my favorite class at that: Algebra.

The final bell, signaling the end of the school day, rang. Everyone quickly packs up, eager to leave school.

"Make sure to pick up last week's test from my desk before you head out!" Mr. Warfare announces. When I get to the desk, I grab the last paper on the desk with a big 100% on it.

"No surprise there Ms. Cantillo." he praises.

"I worked really hard, sir."

With a final smile and head nod I make my way towards my locker to drop off my books since I am way ahead of the course load. I got an A, so I deserve a day off. An extra skip in my step, I dig for my planner inside my book bag for the combination again to be able to unlock my locker.

I have a terrible sense of memory when it comes to numbers, I can never seem to remember my own locker combination, so I have it written down in my planner. Ironic since I am good at math and equations.

My planner is like my personal bible. I lose this planner, I lose myself, and man is my soul slowly sliding out of my body because my planner is not in my bag. I begin to panic and try to retrace my steps.

I had it when I went to chemistry, then I went to lunch, and after I went to my lock-.

Shit...I dropped my planner when I bumped into that guy earlier.

"Looking for this?" A voice says behind me. I turn around to see green eyes staring right at me holding up my planner in his hand. He goes on, "You dropped it earlier, but ran away before I can give it back."

He extends the planner out to me and I slowly reach out to take it not saying a word. He looks at me very peculiarly asking, "Do I know you from somewhere?"

Shit, he knows it was me last night. My eyes widened; I think I just broke into a sweat.

Play dead! Wait, no. Play dumb.

I shake my head 'no'. It's as if that slightest movement got him to connect the dots in his head. His eyebrows rise in realization, then his face turns into a scowl. He begins to slowly creep towards me like a hunter searching for his next meal. I take a step back until my back hits the lockers.

This is it. I'm going to die.

"Yo Dom! You coming?"

He looks to the side towards his friends at the end of the hall. I take that as my shot to escape and I dash the opposite way towards the exit, heading straight to my car. I seem to be doing a lot of running these days.

The sound of pounding footsteps hitting the ground behind me causes me to speed up. I keep heading down the long hallway and take several turns in hopes I lose him. Taking a quick peek, I see his body several feet away.

Making a quick left turn, I find the biology classroom door slightly open. I dash in and close the door behind me. I duck down away from the glass window of the door to not be seen.

Slowly, I rise to see him run past the room and down the rest of the hallway heading towards the gym. I creep out the classroom and run in the opposite direction towards the parking lot. There, I manage to reach my car and drive towards the gates. I see movement in my rear view mirror and it's him bursting out the exit doors, looking at my retrieving car.
