The day of the party we headed to the mall to go costume shopping. Jinnie is too excited to go shopping, it also does not help that her favorite holiday is Halloween.
Once we got into the costume shop Jinnie declared that she will be picking out everyone's costume, so I just wandered around not even bothering to look for something myself.
If it were up to me, I'd wear a black t-shirt and some tights, stick some cat ears on my head and call it a day. Jinnie started with Oliver, he stepped out of the dressing room wearing purple short shorts, shirtless, and plastic Hulk fist that are obviously too big for his body.
"Hulk? Really?" Noah snickers. I look at the other guys for their reactions. Dom just rolls his eyes and walks away, while Elijah, well he looks like he's in a trance.
"Hey, I look hot." Oliver says, getting into the superman stance. "Thanks, Jin."
"Just wait till we actually paint you green." Jinnie gets giddy. Olly's eyes widen in excitement. He fists pumps the air and heads to the dressing room to change.
I walk over to Eli who is still staring at the space where Oliver was. I give him a little hip bump causing him to come back to reality. A slight blush appeared on his tan cheeks.
"Something you want to tell me?"
"Was it that obvious?" He looks nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.
"A little."
"I don't know what's been going on with me, but I just see him in a different way, not just my friend. It doesn't help that when we hang out, he's always shirtless."
"Eli... are you... you know?" I ask cautiously.
"Gay?" he whispers. I nod. "I don't know. I've made out with girls before, but nothing compares to this weird feeling when I look at him." A small smile appeared on his face. I can see how much emotion he has when he talks about Oliver.
"You should talk to him."
"What if he doesn't feel the same way?" His face expressed fear and sadness.
"Would you rather live in a world of what ifs or in a world where you expressed your feelings, whether they are reciprocated or not, not living in fear." I offer him a reassuring smile and walk towards the dressing room after hearing Jinnie call my name.
I hope Elijah gets the courage to express his feelings.
"I found the perfect costume for us!" Jinnie squeals. I see her holding up two hangers, one with white material and the other with red material. She hands me the red one and shoves me into a dressing room.
"Jinnie this better not be too revealing!"
"Live a little Amelia." She groans. "Trust me you are going to look like a total babe."
I tug on the material, or lack thereof. The red lace corset pushes up my breast making my cleavage more noticeable. The matching red tutu doesn't really cover much of my ass either.
I attach the tail and stick the headband with horns on my head to see the full effect. Looking in the mirror the person staring back at me is not what I expected.
"Jinnie I don't know how I feel about this." I open the door expecting Jinnie to be waiting on the other side, but a surprised Dominic is there instead.
"Uh she went to go help Noah find a costume." He says, his eyes rake down my body causing heat to surface on my skin. I would not be surprised if I am the same color as the costume. Standing under his intense gaze I try to cover up.
"Oh... Um... Can you just tell her to find me something else?"
"Not going to happen. You look sexy as fuck." His voice came out raspy. He stalks towards me, for every step forward I take one back until I hit the mirror in the dressing room.
"Hell might not be so bad after all." He whispers leaning in. Our lips graze each other. My breath becomes shallow waiting for him to kiss me.
A ding goes off signally a text message from Dom's phone. He huffs and pulls away taking it out his back pocket to see. His phone has been going off the entire time we were at the mall.
"Who is it?"
"It's Tiffany, again." Dom ignores the texts.
"I'm going to get changed." I slightly shove him out and close the door.
Why the hell does she keep texting him?
Is someone jealous?
No! That bitch just needs to learn what's not her's.
So, Dominic is yours?
You know what brain? I don't like you.
I quickly change back into my clothes and take the costume to the front of the store. There is no point in arguing with Jinnie about it, it's either this or something worse.
From the looks of it everyone has their costume and is ready to go. We all head back to my house to get ready before the party tonight and briefly go over the plan one more time before we start getting ready for the night.

I curled my hair to give it nice beach curls and apply a bit of mascara. To top it off I put on some fiery red lipstick that made my lips look extra plump. Adding some red fishnet stockings and my red pumps with the costume I am officially done. I look over at Jinnie to get approval and my jaw drops.
Jinnie has on a similar costume as mine but in white with angel wings and a halo to add to the effect. Her blonde hair is pin straight, she looks angelic but sexy. I don't think those two words should go together but Jinnie makes it work.
"Damn girl! If that's what angels look like I can't wait to go to heaven." I smirk at her.
"Sorry babe, but this" she gestures towards her body, "is already reserved."
"Would a certain Asian friend of ours have the reservations?" I tease seeing a slight blush appear on her cheeks.
"Maybe." She mumbles. I laugh at her sudden shyness. I know Jinnie as the person to say what's on her mind no matter how rude it may sound. But ever since we started hanging out with the guys, I've noticed a more timid and delicate side to her that only seems to come out when Noah is around.
"Don't you start laughing missy. You'll have Dominic begging to go to hell after seeing you." A proud smile appears on her face when my cheeks start getting red. Dom's comment about hell not being so bad earlier repeating in my head.
