"Dang it, wrong class room," huffed Y/N as she appeared at the wrong class. "Where the heck is-"

She was suddenly cut off when a boy knocked into her. They both fall with a thud, with the boy quickly recovering to help the girl he just ran into. "Oh shoot, sorry, didn't see you there. Here, let me give you a hand."

Y/N looks up and her eyes meet a pair of mesmerizing eyes, igniting a spark inside. She gently places her small hand into his bigger hand, allowing this boy to pull her up.

Both of them stared into each others eyes for a moment, not knowing how to begin the conversation. Realizing that they're in the middle of the hallway, he quickly pulls her to the side before introducing himself. "Hey, I'm Michael Meyers but you can call me Mush."

Y/N blushes as she replied, "Hi, Mush. My name is Y/N L/N but you can call me N/N."

The final bell rung, ending the terrible prison sentence for most of the students.

"Okay class, we will pick up on this lesson tomorrow. You are now dismissed," said Mrs. Brown.

Y/N turned around to be face to face with none other than Mush Meyers himself. "So Mush," she smiled, "now that our daily prison sentence is over, want to go to the park today?"

Mush chuckled, "You're so overdramatic, N/N. And the park sounds good. Let's drop our stuff off first at your house before we go anywhere."

"Perfect, let's go now so we can have more time there."

Y/N and Mush quickly gathered their items and rushed out of the school so that they could hurry to the park.

"You know, N/N, it's been a year since we first met," said Mush as they arrived at their favorite park.

Y/N giggled as she remembered their first encounter. "Yeah, that first day was so confusing for me. I had no idea where any of my classes were, so I'm pretty glad I ran into you. Literally."

They both laughed and then quieted down, taking in the scenery around them. The silence was not an awkward one, it was the type of silence that was comforting, no words needed to be exchanged.

The pair arrived to a tree near a more secluded part of the park. And once they sat down, they looked around and noticed pairs of animals all over the place.

"Mush," Y/N said, breaking the silence, "there's an actual reason why I asked you to come to the park with me."

Hearing her nervous tone caused Mush to give her his full attention. "What's the reason?"

Y/N began to play with the cuffs of her sweatshirt. "I- well- I, uh..." she stays silent, trying to muster up the courage to tell Mush how she truly felt for him.
