She picked up her guitar that John had bought her a while ago and grabbed the guitar pick that Nick bought for five cents at a dollar store last minute.
She hummed, plucking the strings and started to sing.

She placed her guitar down and smiled to herself. Closing her book with the lyrics in it, she shoved it under Nick's bed.
John and Nick didn't have an extra room, so Kailee just sleep on a mattress in Nick's room. Chris was sleeping in John's room because there was an extra bed in there.
Her stomach rumbled as she got up to get something to eat. When she walked into the kitchen, she saw something that almost gave her a heart attack. Kailee jerked back, a loud scream in her throat.
