Chapter 14

Because of the accident, you had to take some time off of school. You weren't so happy about it. You wanted to hang out with your friends. Play volleyball. But you were confided to a hospital bed. A nurse visited you some time later and told you that you were going to be discharged, but you had to take the week off of school.

You were even more annoyed. You grabbed your phone from the table and messaged on the group chat that Bokuto and Akaashi were in. Knowing Kuroo and Kenma, you thought they would have told them.

Wednesday 10th June - 11:30am

Eevee:
Guys. Guess
what.

Emo Cat:
What?

Akaashi:
What's up?

Owl-head:
What?

Neko-chan:
What, Y/N?

Eevee:
I'm getting
discharged
today! 🥳

Emo Cat:
Really?!

Owl-head:
What do you
mean
"discharged"?

Akaashi:
What happened?

Neko-chan:
Y/N had a bad
fall this morning
and she's been in
hospital since.

Akaashi:
Oh no. Are you
alright now?

Eevee:
Kinda. I have to
take the week off
of school and take
it easy. But that in
it's self is easier
said than done.

Akaashi:
Mind if I ask why?

Eevee:
I live alone. So I
don't have anyone
to look after me.

Owl-head:
No! 😢

Akaashi:
Do you not have
any family that
could help?

Eevee:
Nah. My uncle
doesn't live in
Japan. I have no
idea where my dad
is and my mum...

Owl-head:
Yeah?

Eevee:
Well err... She's
not around
anymore. 😭

Owl-head:
Hey. Don't cry.
I'm sorry for
prying.

Eevee:
Nah. It's ok. Now
I just have to find
someone who
could look after
me for a week.

Emo Cat:
I could.

Eevee:
Are you sure? You'd
miss a whole week
of school. And a
whole week of
volleyball practice.

Neko-chan:
Your health comes
first.

Eevee:
Aww. Kenma. That's

Emo Cat:
When do you get
discharged?

Eevee:
At 3.

Akaashi:
Isn't that when your
school finishes?

Emo Cat:
Yeah. It is. Kenma.
We're gonna have to
talk to coach. Let him
know we won't be at
practice today.

Owl-head:
How're you gonna
explain your week
absence?

Emo Cat:
Hmmm.

Neko-chan:
I'll tell coach a
friend of yours was
injured, so you
were looking after
them for a week.

Emo Cat:

Eevee:
You guys better go.
I'm pretty sure you're
all in a lesson.
