"COCK-A-DOODLE-DO!" The rooster crowed. The light of morning sun shined down on the school. It was a new day, the first official day of the new school year, and no creature was excited as Luster. The moment she opened her eyes she was up and ready to start the day! She got out of bed and went to her area of the room. She needed to unpack all her school supplies for class, good thing she was organized!

"Yawn, oh man I barely got any sleep." Panacea muttered grumpily.

"Well maybe that's because your hanging upside down dear." Magnolia said, walking out of the bathroom with her nightgown and curlers. She had clearly been up before any of them to get ready for the day.

"Oh yeah. Sorry. The bed was a little too small for me and I just couldn't get comfortable so-"

"You decided to become a vampire? Oh yes that makes absolute sense." Magnolia said sarcastically. 

"Well I didn't know what else too do, it just seemed natural. That doesn't mean I'm a vampire!" Panacea exclaimed in defense.

"Can you two keep it down! I'm trying to get some royal sleep here!" Said Flurry heart from under her pillow.

"Oh please you've already had hours to sleep, NOW GET UP!" Magnolia said ripping away her pillow and blanket with her magic.

"Ugh, just five more minutes!" Flurry groaned.

"No, you have to get up like the rest of us. Just because your a princess doesn't mean you get to be petty and snotty!"

"I am not snotty! And besides, look who whose talking?"

"What's that supposed to mean!?"

"I'm just saying, your a bit petty for a pony, always taking creatures complements so seriously."

"Well at least I care for my appearances! Your hair looks messier then a haystack!"

"Do you honestly think that I wake up with a perfect head of hair!? It takes HOURS just to do my mane! All too look good for visitors who only stay for tea. You think I enjoy that!?"

"Can you guys keep it down?" Luster asked butting into the conversation. "I'm trying to find my saddle bag, have any of you seen it?"

"Is it the apricot bag with the golden buttons?" Magnolia asked as she began to take out the curlers.

"Yep! That's the one." 

"Right over here darlin." She picked out a light orange bag from the closet and levitated it towards Luster.

"Thanks."

"No problem, ahem. As I was saying-"

Right as she opened her mouth, the bell rang. Panacea began to panic.

"Oh no! Were going to be late, on our first day! That's not going to go well!" She exclaimed in a frenzy.

"Oh calm down we'll be fine." Flurry heart said calmly flying down to the floor. "We have plenty of time, our first class is just on the other side of the hall, now let's get going!"

By 7:30, all the girls were out in front of their dorm all cleaned up and ready...except for Magnolia.

"Come on Maggie let's go! Were still going to be late!" Luster yelled in annoyance. She had never met anyone who had taken this long to get ready.

"Beauty takes time darlin's!" She said from inside the room. "The first day of school is the most important of all, apart from graduation of course."

"If she even graduates at all." Flurry muttered.
