Cake Catastrophe

Flurry heart and Magnolia walked through the Everfree forest, down the stone path back to school. She had talked to Flurry a bit until she was ready to go back to school. As they walked in, they heard a commotion coming from the cafeteria.

"Do you hear that?" Flurry asked, cautiously heading towards the lunch doors. As she slowly pushed open the doors she understood what all the yelling was about. There in the lunch room, stood a giant cake monster eating everyone in sight! Magnolia gasped at the very sight of it.

"What the- what is that thing!?" She screamed.

"A living cake monster... That's new." Flurry said. She had already seen a lot. As the monster attacked, Skyla flew around like a buzzing flash bee. Zapping it with her magic trying to take it down, but without success. As she noticed her sister, she flew down over to her right away.

"Flurry! Oh thank goodness your here. I need yo-"

"WHAT HAPPEND?" Flurry asked interrupting her. "WHY IS THERE A GIANT CAKE MONSTER EATING EVERYONE?" She exclaimed waving her hooves in the air.

"Yeah.. funny story about that." Skyla laughed nervously. "Basically, some ponies were asking me about what kind of spells I could do which I did, basic ones. I kiiinda wanted to show them this really cool spell Sunburst taught me but something must of gone wrong and well... Ta-Da."

The monster roared as it continued to attack.

"So you made a giant cake monster!?"

"I didn't mean to honest! It was an accident, please don't be mad." She said with a faint smile.

"Mad? Oh sure I'm not mad, just ask all those creatures who have been EATEN-"

"Uh guys?" Magnolia asked interrupting them. "I don't mean to interrupt, but we should probably do something before everyone dies?"

"Pfft, there not dead. There just slowly being digested in a mixture of batter and frosting. They'll come out later." Skyla said dismissingly.

"IT STILL HURTS THOUGH!" Someone cried out as they were being swallowed by the monster.

"She's right, we have to stop this. Maggie, evacuate everyone out of the cafeteria. I'll handle the monster."

"What about me?" Skyla asked. "What should I do?"

"Sit there and do nothing." Flurry said flying away.

"But I can help you!"

"I'VE GOT THIS!" Flurry yelled back, blasting the monster with her golden rays.

Skyla watched as her sister fought off the giant cake. She always wanted to do things on her own. Why couldn't she just let her help?

As Flurry continued, Panacea and PB walked in.

"Wow." Panny said staring at the chaos in front of her.

"Now this is what I call a PARTY!" Lil'Chesse exclaimed riding a wave of frosting.

"Cheesy no! Monster puke bad!" PB yelled trying to stop his sister from going into the monsters mouth.

"We have to help them!" Panacea exclaimed watching the destruction in fear. "We have to do something!"

"Right!" PB replied. "Pan, you help Flurry. I'll help distract it." She nodded as they followed through with their plan. Panacea flew behind the monster and tried to slow it down while Flurry went on zapping it. Every time she broke through, frosting would fill back in even harder to break then before. For a cake this was pretty tough to bake.

"Alright everybody out now!" Magnolia yelled. She stood by the door trying to instruct the remaining students out of the cafeteria. Everyone was screaming and yelling, all trying to leave at the same time. "Single file now single file- HEY! No pushing, watch the hair."
