Meanwhile. Far outside the friendship school, discord and panacea appeared in a flash of light right outside the cozy cottage she called home. Although this time she wasn't so eager to go inside. In fact, home was the last place she wanted to be.
"I-I thought we were going to travel?" Panacea said nervously. "Someplace like Canterlot or Fillydelphia, anywhere but here."
"Oh we are." Discord replied. "We just need to head inside and pick up a couple things that's all. Also, your mother wanted to talk to you when you got home."
Panacea gulped. She knew that was the real reason. Her mother was usually very kind and soft spoken. Which she was. But whenever she did things like this with her powers she knew she'd get quite the scolding. Fluttershy never yelled at her like most parents would, but she would say the kind of things that hung a huge cloud of guilt over your head and made you cry in your pillow. Either way, she was not looking forward to this in the slightest.
She slowly walked over, dreading every step. Finally she made it to the door. She took a deep breath. As she opened the wooden door, her mother was already waiting for them.
"Oh! Your back." She said slightly surprised. "I was worried there for a second, I thought something had happened to you."
"I'm fine." She muttered. She did not want to start any kind of conversation right now. She just wanted to get in and go.
"Were home!" Discord exclaimed coming through the door in front of her. "I hope we weren't too long, you know parent meetings and all that, so boring. I much rather be here at home with my lovely wife and daughter. And did I mention how nice your mane is today? Because it is absolutely dazzling!"
Fluttershy just glared at him.
"What happened?" She asked suspiciously. "I know she did something at school, and judging by that tone it must have been pretty bad."
Discord sighed. "I should have known you'd see right through me, still sharp as ever."
"Well I'm making muffins, so why don't we all sit down and have a nice chat. I'm sure we can talk this out."
"Ohhh! muffins my favorite. What kind?"
As Fluttershy went on to explain the details, Panacea slowly walked around them and started up the stairs as quietly as possible. Unfortunately for her, not quiet enough.
"And where do you think your going young lady?" Fluttershy asked catching her daughter sneaking away in the corner of her eye. Panacea stuttered anxiously.
"Uh... I'm just tired." She said quickly.
"Really? Well I just made a nice snack for the three of us to share. So why don't we sit down and enjoy some yummy muffins. Doesn't that sound fun?" Fluttershy said positively.
"Not hungry." Panacea replied.
"Well, wouldn't it be nice just to spend some family time together?"
"No, I'm don't wanna-"
Fluttershy stomped her hoof on the ground. Tired of her excuses. "Panacea Susie Shy! You are going to come down here, and were going to have a nice talk as a family."
"But-"
"No buts missy. Come here and sit down."
"But-"
"Sit."
Panacea sighed. She knew there was no getting out of this. No matter how hard she tried. She groaned in defeat as she slowly floated over and sat down beside her parents.
